Strategic Thinking:

Summary of Position:

The Mirrored Media creative department operates as the agency’s lead for creative ideation, conceptual development, experience architecture, brand storytelling and design.

The campaign will be filmed in the scenic city of Vancouver, and we are looking for young talents who meet the following criteria:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform scripted and potentially improvised dialogue in both French and English.
  • Work collaboratively with the director, production crew, and other actors to bring the campaign’s vision to life.
  • Attend all scheduled rehearsals, fittings, and filming dates in Vancouver.
  • Represent the car brand positively and professionally throughout the campaign.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in French and English (fluency in both languages is mandatory).
  • Boy or Girl, aged 7 to 8. Must be at least 7 years old by [insert legal cutoff date].
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Non-union and union members (Actra & UDA INM Spots) are encouraged to apply. This is a union campaign.
  • Comfortable with traveling to Vancouver for the shoot (if residing outside the area).
  • Accompanied by one parent or legal guardian if selected.

Compensation:

  • Approximately $2,500.00 per child, subject to the survival of the edit. This compensation includes all lifts, edits, versions, and is a buyout agreement.
  • Travel and accommodation will be provided for the child and one parent/legal guardian if they do not live near Vancouver.

Non-Union PSA Voice Over Artist (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Storyline:
This campaign aims to promote safe boating practices, focusing on paddling safety, the mandatory safe boating course beginning in 2025, and Operation Dry Water. It’s designed to inform and engage the New York boating community about the importance of safety on the water.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide voice-over for a series of public service announcements related to boating safety.

  • Record a total of 9 scripts in both English and Spanish, which include 30-second, 15-second, and 6-second versions.

  • Deliver vibrant, engaging, and charismatic voice-over work, portraying the essence of a knowledgeable and energetic host talking about boating safety.

  • Ensure recordings are of high quality, with clear, confident, and sophisticated tones.

  • Record remotely and deliver raw, clean files by the set deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Male voice talent, sounding between the ages of 30s-50s.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. Must have a neutral American English accent (non-regional, ‘accent-less’) and clear speaking voice.

  • Experience in voice-over work, preferably with public service announcements or similar projects.

  • Must have a professional home recording setup to produce clean, raw audio files.

  • Bilingual voice-over reels are mandatory for submission. Applicants without a bilingual reel will not be considered.

  • Ability to adhere strictly to the project timeline and deliverables.

Compensation Details:

  • The selected voice-over artist will receive a payment of $1,000 for their services.

  • A $300 buyout fee is also included for full rights in perpetuity for regional broadcast across all media.

  • An additional 10% will be added to the total compensation.

  • Participate in wardrobe fitting and makeup as required by the production team.

  • Must live within 2.5 hours of Albany, NY.

  • Available to shoot on specified dates without any conflicts.

  • Previous acting experience preferred; reels are mandatory for consideration.

  • Ability to convey emotions and actions effectively in a non-speaking role.

  • Must agree to all terms, which are non-negotiable.

Compensation:

  • $600 for an 8-hour shoot day.

  • Additional $300 buyout fee.

  • Plus 10% if represented by an agency.
