Job Description

An indie short film production is seeking talented and passionate crew members, production assistants, and extras for an upcoming project filming in New York City and Jersey City. This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring and experienced film professionals to collaborate on a creative independent production.

The production team is hiring for several behind-the-scenes crew roles, along with extras to appear on camera.

Job Responsibilities

Selected candidates may be responsible for:

• Assisting with production coordination and set operations
• Supporting camera and lighting departments
• Managing costumes, props, and set dressing
• Operating boom microphones and assisting audio capture
• Supporting directing staff and production scheduling
• Assisting with grip and equipment setup
• Providing craft services and on-set support
• Participating as background extras during filming

Requirements

Production is currently seeking the following positions:

• Assistant Director
• 2nd Assistant Director
• 1st Assistant Camera
• 2nd Assistant Camera
• Art Director
• Set Dresser
• Costume Designer
• Boom Operator
• Key Grip
• Meals & Crafty Support
• Extras
• Production Assistants (PAs)

Additional Requirements:

• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
• Previous film set experience is a plus but not required for all positions
• Must be available for filming in NYC and Jersey City
