Job Description
A production filming in Fayetteville and surrounding areas is seeking a male stand-in for multiple days of filming. Casting is specifically looking for a Caucasian male who is approximately 6’7″ and can consistently work as a stand-in throughout the production schedule. Previous stand-in or on-set experience should be listed when applying. Selected talent will help the production team with lighting, camera setups, blocking, and other preparations by standing in for an actor between takes and during technical rehearsals.
Job Responsibilities

- Accurately follow positioning and movement instructions from the crew.

Job Description
A psychological thriller short film titled Exposure is casting male and female actors for the lead roles of Mary and Jamal. Filming will take place in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The story unfolds during a tense dinner where Mary confronts her cheating boyfriend with a calculated trap that could ultimately cost him everything. Mary is calm, observant, and emotionally guarded, maintaining a controlled exterior despite being pushed beyond her breaking point. Jamal is charming but defensive, with his composure gradually deteriorating as his lies begin to unravel.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray either Mary or Jamal in a psychological thriller short film.
- Deliver a grounded and emotionally layered dramatic performance.
- Perform an intense relationship confrontation centered on betrayal and deception.
- Convey escalating tension and emotional conflict naturally on camera.
- Jamal actor must perform a convincing physical sequence involving an allergic reaction, choking, distress, and collapsing.
Requirements
- Mary: Female actor, ages 25–35, African American.
- Jamal: Male actor, ages 25–35, African American.
- Strong dramatic acting ability.
- Jamal actor must be comfortable with the physical demands of the simulated death scene.
