Job Description: We are casting real New Yorkers who are currently involved in different types of disputes and are willing to undergo free conflict mediation for an upcoming documentary produced by Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures. Whether you’re in a workplace disagreement, a conflict over a pet, an issue with a neighbor, or a dispute with a landlord, tenant, or roommate, this is an opportunity to participate in a meaningful project while working towards resolution through professional mediation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in on-camera conflict mediation sessions to resolve your current dispute.
  • Openly share and discuss your conflict, whether it’s related to your workplace, a pet, a neighbor, or living arrangements.
  • Collaborate with mediators and the production team to help resolve the issue while being filmed.
  • Be professional and cooperative during the filming and mediation process.

Requirements:

  • Must be a New York resident currently involved in one of the following disputes:
    • Workplace disputes
    • Disputes over pets
    • Conflicts with neighbors
    • Disputes with landlords, tenants, or roommates
  • Willing to participate in conflict mediation on camera.
  • Open to sharing the details of your conflict and experience as part of the documentary.
  • Comfortable with being filmed and having your experience documented.

Compensation:

  • Free professional conflict mediation provided as part of the documentary.
  • Additional compensation for participation in the documentary (details to be discussed during the casting process).

Requirements

  • Must own a Defender, Range Rover, or Discovery model (from the last 3–4 years)

  • Owners of Defender: Must live within approx. 3-hour drive of Port Jervis, NY and be available for a May 16 shoot

  • Owners of Defender, Range Rover, Discovery: Can be based anywhere in the U.S. (shoot dates flexible through July–September)

  • Must have a compelling, authentic story involving your Land Rover
