An International Gallery, with an expanding presence in Los Angeles are looking for a Gallery Sales Assistant to join their team.
Previous experience working within a Gallery in a similar fast-paced role is required.
The key job responsibilities include:
- Responsible for assisting in all matters relating to the sale of artworks and the day-to-day running of the Gallery space.
- Act as front of house, representing the Gallery and greeting clients and visitors.
- Provide administrative support to the Director and sales team.
- Liaise with clients on a regular basis, partake in meetings and all correspondence.
- Assisting with all logistics and post-sale duties, as well as invoicing and chasing payments.
- Carry out diary management duties, booking meetings, travel and any other ad-hoc duties when required.
Experience required:
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a Gallery space is required.
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree or higher would be highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the Fine Art industry is required.
- Previously experience using ArtLogic and Asana is beneficial.
- Ability to troubleshoot and quickly and efficiently respond to enquiries.
