Job Description
Casting directors are seeking talented actors for supporting roles in an upcoming feature film golf comedy titled The Back Nine. Produced by Bright Eye Pictures, the film is a character-driven comedy centered around a corporate golf scramble tournament where tensions, ego, and workplace dynamics unfold over the back nine holes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray supporting characters in a feature film production

  • Deliver grounded performances that reflect realistic character dynamics

  • Follow direction from the director and production team

  • Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled

  • Collaborate with cast and crew to bring scenes to life

Requirements

Casting the following supporting roles:

Henley (Supporting | 40s–60s | Any Ethnicity)

  • Regional executive with a calculated and competitive personality

  • Image-conscious and driven to win in both business and sports

  • Smooth in public but intense in private

  • Strong presence and controlled emotional intensity required

George (Supporting | 30–60 | Any Ethnicity)

  • Best friend and self-appointed caddy to another character

  • Grounded, observant, and quietly philosophical

  • Comfortable outside the corporate world and skeptical of corporate culture

  • Practical golf knowledge is a plus

Ed Jacobs (Supporting | 40s–60s | Any Ethnicity)

  • Corporate compliance officer with an intelligent and procedural mindset

  • Quietly fatalistic with dry wit

  • Minimalist performance style with strong stillness and subtle delivery

Additional Requirements

  • Professional acting experience preferred

  • Ability to perform grounded, restrained comedy

  • Must be able to work as a local hire

Compensation

  • Paid roles

  • Rates targeting SAG Ultra Low Budget–equivalent levels

  • Contracts finalized prior to principal photography
