Role Overview:

The Photo Studio Manager / Producer maintains high-level knowledge and organization of all content productions and photoshoots. This role works closely with Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing and Creative to align on seasonal needs for the business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Own the production process of all studio shoots – Ecom Lifestyle, Product Flats, Video, Go-to-Market needs, etc – and select outdoor lifestyle shoots
  • Own and oversee photo studio management – including but not limited to: model fittings, model agency communication, freelance crew, props/set design, equipment needs and day-to-day shoot logistics
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to operate within seasonal timelines and budget, ensuring shoot deliveries are being met on time and on budget
  • Assess needs, propose and track budgets needed to successfully fulfill requested creative direction + shot list
  • Own photo studio cleanliness, upkeep, stock, etc.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing Manager to pull all necessary product needs based on shot list and catalog pagination
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, Talent Relations, etc… to obtain approval on all materials used in projects and to disseminate information on restrictions to all affected parties
  • Partner with Creative Team, Creative Project Manager and Asset Specialist on post-production process and hand-off
  • Own and oversee select lifestyle photoshoot management – including but not limited to: model and location scouting, model agency communication, hiring crew, location permitting, and day-to-day shoot logistics
  • Own communication and cross-functional visibility between external agencies and internal teams
  • Oversee Production Coordinator and guide them in the most effective sample organization, pre-production product prep, task and prioritization management
  • Assist in maintaining on-set efficiency – keeping to time + budget
  • Be a stakeholder for on-set prep, shoot, and takedown
  • Source model packages and casting options and own process of model selects per season by routing for feedback and approvals to brand marketing and creative teams
  • Maintain relationships and communication with model agencies
  • Oversee casting and model fits by sending product, tracking sizes, etc.
  • Manage studio calendar and ensure crew needs are met and scheduled
  • Provide assistance and booking for product laydown shoots

Educational/Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of photoshoot and project management experience
  • Experience with working with apparel product
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional skills
  • Excellent understanding of GTM initiatives, planning and execution
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry skills
  • Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes
  • Willingness to be in-office full-time for hands-on studio oversight and sample handling
  • Working Knowledge of photo studio equipment and needs
