KGO-TV, the ABC-owned station in San Francisco, is seeking a Weekend Executive Producer of Streaming and Production to launch daily live news programs for ABC7 News Bay Area’s streaming channel and oversee our weekend content team. Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of weekend news coverage on all of KGO/ABC7 platforms
  • Guide assignment editors, and linear and digital producers on editorial content decisions

  • Communicate well with others in the newsroom, and across station departments
  • During the week, fill-in for Executive Producers on all dayparts or work on special projects

Basic Qualifications :

Overview

The Video & Sound Production Specialist must demonstrate a command of the daily workflow for the advertising/marketing team to include development of Video & Sound project timelines by managing schedules, maintaining company brand standards across all projects, and by demonstrating a thorough understanding of specifications for all marketing/advertising projects.

The Video & Sound Production Specialist is responsible for our media deliverables, including TV, digital video content production, all radio, (both streaming and terrestrial), and all in-store messaging which includes all overhead in store announcements, in store music, and queuing monitor advertising.This role impacts our branding content and messaging across multiple impressions for our customers.

Responsibilities:

TV Production & Digital Video:

  • Owns the relationship with outside vendors to execute national, cable, local + top 10 local markets television campaigns and digital video needs from start to finish.
  • Assists in development of all creative briefs and scheduling to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Partners with marketing content team, collecting merchandise information and samples for in store and out of store TV shoots.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Associate Producer who will work alongside the finishing producing team in a supporting capacity. The Producing team is responsible for oversight and management of the production process from initial pre-pro phase through conform, color and delivery.

Essential Duties:

Technical

  • Skillfully operate and maintain all studio video and audio equipment, with a special focus on cinematography, lighting, and lensing.
