MEDIA DIRECTOR

HYBRID 3-DAYS IN OFFICE NYC

SALARY: $140-150K

The Role

As Media Director, you will provide strategic vision and leadership across a portfolio of media clients, ensuring the execution of innovative, effective media plans that deliver client goals. You will be a strategic partner to clients, developing lasting relationships based on consistent business performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee a portfolio of media clients, with a focus on strategic vision and team management
  • Play an integral role in the scaling and growth of our agency
  • Provide efficient and profitable servicing of clients, including staffing, team structure and assignments
  • Manage all projects to ensure the highest level of quality assurance, performance, and innovation
  • Develop innovative media strategies and recommendations that are consistent with client objectives
  • Lead client contact, responsible for developing lasting, collaborative relationships
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of client’s business as basis for all future work

· Foster an environment which encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation and creativity

  • Keep abreast of technology, market, and media trends to apply strategically to clients’ business
  • Actively promote agency’s ambition to media partners and build strong partner relationships
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level planners, with oversight and ultimate accountability for their growth, training, and professional development

· Accurately, objectively, and constructively evaluate performance of junior and senior media planners

  • Exhibit ambition by driving agency thought leadership and new business

· Actively participate in new business pitch presentations

· Highly skilled at developing and driving media and account strategy

  • Superior knowledge of media fundamentals and quantitative skills, including analytical abilities

· Proven success leading and growing client business

  • Decisive management of multidisciplinary teams
  • Management of campaign client billing, budget reconciliation
  • Knowledge of reporting, analytic, auditing, and financial platforms, and tools
  • Experience onboarding new client accounts
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Exceptional written, verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to communicate with all levels of employees and clients
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

Qualifications Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher

MANAGER, PAID SOCIAL

SALARY: $85-95K

HYBRID 3-DAYS IN OFFICE

We are looking for an innovative, creative and data-obsessed Manager of Paid Social to join the team. This role will have a focus on D2C performance marketing in the luxury fashion, multi-brand retail and beauty verticals.

The ideal candidate would have an analytically-focused mind, with the ability to connect the dots between quantitative and qualitative data.

The Manager, Paid Social will be responsible for managing client relationships, leading strategy and overseeing the day-to-day account optimizations and execution. They have a strong knowledge of key Paid Social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest, and will be up to date on the latest industry trends. They will be responsible for curating strategy, driving performance to achieve client goals, data-led reporting, and leading client calls.

RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Manage, build and optimize campaigns, audiences and creative in Paid Social accounts ● Lead paid social strategy, planning and execution of campaigns that drive user acquisition and revenue growth ● Manage client budgets and forecasts to ensure targets are met ● Develop and contribute to testing roadmap (creative, ad formats, audiences, etc.) to improve KPIs and tactics to drive growth ● Analyze performance data and cross-reference Google Analytics with social platform data to optimize campaigns weekly and drive performance ● Complete weekly performance reporting decks, lead weekly client calls, and present all performance reports professionally and confidently ● Serve as the main point of contact for clients and platform representatives; the primary responsibility being improving and growing client and platform relationships ● Conduct thorough competitor and market research and integrate findings into strategic recommendations ● Stay current on industry trends and best practices in paid social media and bring new ideas to the table to improve performance ● Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Paid Search and Reporting, to achieve client goals

REQUIREMENTS: ● Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related fields ● 3-5 years experience in Paid Social working directly in Facebook Business Manager; TikTok and/or Pinterest a plus (agency experience is preferred) ● Experience with paid social strategy, planning and buying; maintaining significant client budgets and leading reporting and optimizations (performance campaigns a plus) ● Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making ● Well versed in Excel and other data analysis tools (Google Analytics is preferred, but not required) for ongoing and ad hoc data reporting ● Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written ● Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines ● Proactive self starter who can take initiative, but also enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team ● Enjoys working in a fast-paced, start-up environment ● Has a strong understanding of the Paid Social and industry trends NICE TO HAVE: ● Facebook Blueprint certification ● Knowledge about the e-commerce space ● Google Analytics Certification ● Experience with TikTok, Pinterest and/or Snapchat (both organic and paid) ● Experience with influencer partnerships ● A creative background or graphic design experience ● Understanding of organic social media management ● Experience working in a remote environment

INTEGRATED ASSOCIATE MEDIA DIRECTOR

The Role

As the AMD, you will be focused on servicing clients in the development, execution, and ongoing management of campaigns with the ability to assist in high-level strategy and the implementation/execution of media plans. You will manage direct client relationships as well as train and manage junior team members in all media planning functions.

What You’ll Do:

· A drive and desire to contribute, collaborate and win for our client partners each day

· Take a lead role in the development of strategic media plans, negotiation, and execution

· The AMD is the primary point of contact for clients and is responsible for having a firm grasp of both strategic and functional media knowledge.

· Serve as a key contact for media partners in a variety of mediums to negotiate best investment opportunities and build solid agency relationships

Discipline Specific Skills

· Must have 5+ years of relevant integrated media planning experience at a media agency or on a paid media team

· At least two years of direct management experience required

· Experience working in an integrated capacity with internal and external agencies and teams

· Knowledge and understanding of media tools and resources

· Familiarity with the development and execution of branded content and partnerships

· Working knowledge and expertise of third-party ad servers (DCM & Facebook) to traffic media campaigns and pull reports is essential

· Exceptional written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees & clients

Qualification Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree is preferred

· Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word

· Google AdWords, META certifications a plus
