The Junior Digital Producer will operate at the center of all interactive projects alongside their production lead. This person will help ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining brand integrity and adherence to global strategy. This role serves as a bridge between creative development, media and production of deliverables.

This person will work to forge strong relationships with account management, media agencies, and vendors. The foremost responsibility of this role is to ensure that your projects are delivered on time, on budget and with the highest degree of quality and excellence possible.

The Junior Producer is highly organized, proactive and friendly. A flexible, can-do attitude and a general curiosity in the digital advertising space is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead producers in communication of relevant project information to the team, including status reports,

meeting agendas and meeting notes

  • Development of production timelines, creating estimates, overseeing finances and budgets, managing vendors,

  • Work with more senior producers to help oversee teams and solve production issues as they arise

Popular Photography is looking for a consumer-tech editor to help build the brand’s product reviews coverage. The Associate Editor will be a key player in ramping up product testing, guides, reviews, gift guides, roundups, how-tos, and deals. The ideal candidate is someone who is up to speed on (and perhaps even obsessed with) the latest and greatest photo and video gear, accessories, and general consumer tech. The Responsibilities:

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Multimedia Producer/Editor will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for internal and external purposes. As video has become a key strategy for communicating our message on digital and traditional platforms, this position will play an important role across the organization. This is a newly created position at NKF and will require that the person hired identify what technical equipment i.e. camera and editing programs etc. will be needed to successfully execute the duties of the position.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In consultation with senior leadership within the Marketing & Communications department, the Multimedia Producer/Editor will support national launches of public awareness campaigns, foundation news, cause marketing and donor development campaigns, public policy, and scientific initiatives.
  • Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for NKF initiatives, social videos, product marketing videos, and other enterprise-wide projects as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with NKF departments/teams to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
  • Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy.
  • Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing.
  • Record and edit video and audio projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.
  • Video includes familiarity with professional cameras (i.e. Sony PMW-F3 or similar), prosumer camcorders (i.e. Sony NXCAM HXR‑NX3 or similar), various HD and SD formats, preproduction/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding and photography.
  • Audio includes small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing.
  • Post-production entails digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.
  • Work across departments to properly assess and support various video needs.
  • Create an initial proposed storyboard drafts to present to requesting department and receive approval before beginning to produce video content.

  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to specific platform/use.
  • Create content that is culturally sensitive and reflects the communities we serve, i.e., people of color; provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on video editing/production preferred.

You’re great at handling clients and ensuring their needs are met at any time in the process. Fabulous time-management will be innate and the ability to problem solve will one hundred percent be required. How you make it all possible…

• Taking new briefs, interrogating and challenging them (“you talkin’ to me?”)

• Managing the overall production and crafting the project to fit the parameters of the brief, budget and timeframe

• Developing creative proposals

• Creative development & scripting

• Directing projects where appropriate and working with our team of inhouse creatives

• Production of both live action and animation projects

• Creating paper edits & edit producing

• Client management & client liaison

What’s in your toolbox…

• You’ll have at least three years of experience as a producer with an agency or production company creating cutting-edge brand, marketing and comms films

• Can show a track record in project management which demonstrates excellent attention to detail and professionalism

• You’ll know how to manage a crew

• You’ll have experience working on international shoots (bonjour)

• Conducting interviews with senior, high-profile individuals

• Ability to shoot on Sony FS7 or similar

• Ability to use Premier or Avid

The role will be based primarily in Covent Garden, but there will be times when you’ll need to work from our other offices and undertake other related commercial duties both in the UK and overseas. Flexibility is key!
