Job Description:
SLMD Skincare is looking for an experienced Video Producer/Editor to join our team! This role will be responsible for the ideation, planning, production and editing of all video content for the SLMD brand. The Video Producer/Editor will work closely with the Art Director to develop video campaigns consistent with brand identity and initiatives. The ideal candidate should be a self-starting creative with a passion for compelling digital storytelling, and the necessary technical skills to bring their ideas to life. Must be a native of the digital and pop cultural landscape with intimate knowledge of the latest and greatest in social media and emerging technology/platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with in-house Art Director to conceptualize video campaigns consistent with brand identities and objectives
- Create, shoot, edit and produce on-brand video start to finish
- Quickly edit, process, and produce videos for increased engagement and direct-response marketing efforts
- Create and coordinate production and post-production schedules – and monitor progress for timely execution
- Stay up to date on viral trends across all mediums and create content compelling around them.
Skills and Experience:
- 6-8 years of experience with all forms of video production
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro (Experience with motion graphics is a plus)
- Experience creating short-form content for social media platforms, preferably for brands in the skincare/beauty space
- Experience with all aspects of video production from shooting, lighting, editing, and on set direction
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and meet very tight deadlines
- Great team player with strong project management skills
- A passion for beauty, fashion, entertainment or similarly related digital consumer media is a plus!

You must be able to express yourself articulately and be a fluent writer. Our film producers write their own proposals and treatments so this is a key element of the role’s development goals.
