The Digital Content Creator is a dynamic and creative individual, responsible for creating DIY and craft projects and content from concept to final asset delivery. Organizing sets, preparing video equipment, filming live streams, creating short and long form content videos. This role will support the Content and Communications team across crafting, filming, and editing.

 

Primary Responsibilities – Content Creation and Execution

  • Create innovative, on brand, crafted content to inspire the end consumer to purchase Plaid products
  • Product – product development testing, projects for sales presentations and product packaging
  • Presentation – projects for retail point of sale signage, customer specific marketing campaigns and in-store signage
  • Digital Marketing – projects for social media and monetization campaigns, website inspiration, and                                           e-commerce assets 
  • Utilize craft decorating skills and knowledge of color and design to complete projects across a wide variety of crafts including painting, stenciling, decoupage, costuming, general crafts as projects arise.
  • Collaborate with team members, including Design, Marketing and Communications to ensure a complete understanding of the vision for the final project is executed to meet the objectives and timeline.
  • Assist in live streaming, scheduling, prepping, filming, and final asset delivery to the broader team.
  • Create, film and edit content to support business needs.
  • Ensure that all content meets established editorial, quality, and brand voice standards.
  • Stay abreast of social media and ecommerce developments and research best-in-class examples.

 

Skills Required for Success 

  • Project management skills, must be highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
  • Highly motivated team player with a positive and professional attitude, excellent communication skills, leadership ability, flexibility, and service focus
  • Expert at craft decorating techniques, as trends change, create new ways to use Plaid products and develop new craft techniques
  • BA in Film Studies, Cinematography or BS Degree in Design, Fine Arts or Art Education is a plus
  • 1-2 years of video experience
  • Core knowledge of social media channels and how to effectively create channel specific content
  • Good eye for design and visual aesthetics

Responsibilities :

  • Complete oversight for the newscasts and all content across our multiple platforms, including story selection, production and newsroom management

We are seeking a well-organized and passionate Producer who will be responsible for assisting with production activities for various launches for both photography and video. CORE RESPONSIBILITES:· Work directly with photo & video producers, branding designers & video team to determine availabilities/ place holds and schedule shoot days with various talents needed, move holds as needed with all talent. Ensure all parties/ teams are aware of shoot dates. · Research and book photographers, prop stylists, hair stylists, makeup artists, wardrobe stylists, models etc. for projects. This position will work closely with the Brand Partnerships and Editorial teams under the direction of our Art Director.

Responsibilities

Photography

  • Work closely with the art team to ideate photography standards that are within VinePair’s visual style.
  • Shoot product and still life in-studio, as well as on location in various environments.
  • Edit, retouch, color-correct and own all aspects of post-production.
  • Contribute ideas for photo essays and visual editorial projects.
  • Help manage VinePair photo studio, maintaining equipment, props, and set design materials.

Video

  • Brainstorm social video ideas that are consistent with trends on social platforms and translate them to VinePair’s drinks content.
  • Produce multiple social videos per week for distribution across relevant platforms, working with Social Editor to ensure videos are optimized for all mediums (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok).
  • Edit, retouch, and optimize social videos in post production.
  • Manage VinePair’s TikTok account and post in-app directly.
  • Work with the editorial team on best practices to amplify editorial content to quick and digestible social video.
  • Oversee video production for recording across the VinePair Podcast Network.

Miscellaneous

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working in photo/video production at a media company or relevant field

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom) for output of quality visual assets post-production.
  • Can creatively translate the needs of the brands and client into high quality output through a detailed understanding of the requirements of the platforms.

Seasonal roles will be filled as part of, Spooktacular, Howl-O-Scream, and our daily operation.

What you get to do:

  • Create characters to startle and scare guests at SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream
  • Consistently performing the same scare repetitively throughout the night of the event (some scare positions may involve strenuous physical activity)
  • Perform regularly in assigned area adhering to set and/or show schedule
  • Develops skills/knowledge to maintain excellent quality show/appearance.
  • Follows through on show notes to ensure progress in specific areas.
  • Maintain personal appearance by meeting costume and makeup requirements
  • Assist in general cleaning of specified areas.
  • Assist in the daily operational aspects of assigned show, reporting prop/costume repairs in a timely manner.

Parker Whitaker is currently staffing for the World of Prom at the AmericasMart. They are looking for fashion show dressers and showroom assistants to join their staff teams.

Parker Whitaker is currently seeking some new team members for this coming July 30- August 5 and is currently interviewing for the following roles:

Showroom Assistant:
Assist to unpack/pack up collection, assist to set up/break down showroom, open boxes, maintain cleanliness and organization of showroom during the day, sweep and clean floors/stages/runways, restock pencils/pens/papers/order forms, printing, make runs as needed, order lunch, organize supplies, assist designer team/showroom manager with anything they need, rehang dresses, return dresses to racks, take out trash, clean up food areas, serve guests food items/apps upon request [the assistants are there to help throughout the day as needed.

Steamer:
(should have experience with steaming formal gowns), Steam and re-steam dresses, hang dresses in order of runway lineup, assist to unpack/pack up collection, assist to set up/break down showroom, hang dresses/wardrobe, assist Showroom Director as needed.

Dresser:
Assist to unpack collection, hang dresses/wardrobe, steam and re-steam dresses, hang dresses in order of runway lineup, dress & style models, apply quick changes during any runway show(s), rehang dresses, re-organize runway show collection, reset/clean/maintain an orderly backstage, dress models during showtime hours for buyers requesting certain dresses off the rack to see on a model, returning dresses to racks, packing up collection, organizing shoes/accessories, help maintain organized showroom racks, assist with ensuring showroom is clean and organized throughout the day.

RATE $16/HR
For 4hr shifts, receive one paid 15-min break
For 6hr or more shifts, receive one meal, one unpaid 30min meal break, and 2 paid 15-min breaks
