What We Are Looking For

Droisys is seeking a seasoned Art Director, Design & Music –

  • This role is currently on-site in the Culver City Area. Candidates are expected to be on-site 3 days per week.
  • This is a contract position, where you would work as a freelancer at the Company on our Droisys W2.
  • This is a long-term assignment, with an intended project period of 1 year, with extensions processed every quarter.

Overview of Role:

  • As the Art Director (Design), you will be responsible for crafting innovative and compelling design solutions. This includes identify systems, design language for advertising, performance design systems and more. Accordingly, this roles requires broad experience with developing creative solutions for a variety of mediums.

Key Qualifications:

  • You have at least 8 years or more of relevant experience, preferably at agencies and/or design firms
  • You have outstanding conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • You have a strong grasp of the creative development process
  • You have strong art direction and organizational skills, and you consistently deliver excellent, detail oriented design
  • You have experience in developing identity systems, look, and feels for campaigns, and art directing photo shoots
  • You have a good understanding of digital media
  • You can communicate effectively with fellow creatives, producers, and project management staff; always engendering trust and respect in your dealings
  • You are proficient in relevant design software, including Keynote, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch, and Photoshop

Description:

  • In this role, you will partner with different creatives across Client Services
  • You will craft innovative and inspiring identity systems, as well as campaign design collateral that meets the requirements outlined in Apple’s creative briefs
  • You will be responsible for leading the creation and production of different design solutions, while following creative direction from ACDs or CD
  • Together, we execute high-quality design work on projects in a variety of media
  • Regular reviews of creative work with each group’s ACD and/or CD are a key part of our workflow. This includes gathering feedback on direction and ensuring work aligns with our activities within Client’s graphic design group
  • Responsible for monitoring creative team’s progress against schedules on a project-by-project basis
  • Conduct persuasive creative presentations to executive staff members within the company

Our creative team is growing, and we’re looking for a senior-level, multi-disciplined Senior Art Director to join our team. Overall, the Senior Art Director will provide leadership in areas of conceptual creative solutions, inspire clients and team members with great visual design, and operate in a collaborative approach as part of a larger team. This role is responsible for concept and design for broadcast media, interactive, social, and traditional advertising like print and direct mail, and producing bold, strategic, persuasive ads across all mediums that meet the strategy and goals of our clients. On the Plate

  • Lead a team of creatives including print and digital designers, photographers, and videographers.

Position Summary

Brado is looking for a Creative Director that has a background in writing. The Creative Director is at the heart of inspiring, driving, and bringing exceptional creative ideas to life with the wider team. This position is responsible for the elevating our creative standards, actively mentoring creative team members, representing Brado in client and new business meetings, and contributing to the advancement of Brado’s vision.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Participates in scoping and planning work
  • Leads or manages efforts to translate insight and positioning into original, inspiring, compelling creative — from concept through activation — across audiences, channels, mediums.
  • Attracts and develops talent, motivates, and encourages team.
  • Establishes practices and processes that align with both client and internal needs.
  • Guides strategic, conceptual, and systematic thinking, including setting creative direction, ensuring creative deliverables answer the brief, reviewing work, troubleshooting, and providing specific and actionable feedback to creative teams.
  • Makes presentations internally and with senior-level clients, giving clients full confidence in our work and helping them understand the value of our work.
  • Models a standard of excellence and elevates the quality of our work.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, under various deadlines.
  • Works as a team player, fostering collaboration across functional teams to inspire ideas, as well as to build on the ideas of others, living into Brado’s culture.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a writing-related position, including 3+ years in previous leadership roles
  • BFA or equivalent.
  • Proficient with industry tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Portfolio/web site of work provided with application.
