My client is a Vancouver-based Virtual and Augmented Reality Studio that develops new and unique ways for people to play games and interact with each other. They partner with IP holders, large publishers, and tech brands to create and deliver immersive, high-end game experiences across multiple platforms with a special focus on building new tools for cutting-edge emerging technology. They have well-known titles on PC, PSVR, Oculus, Quest and mobile. The Role:

They are looking for a passionate UX UI Director who enjoys working on an agile and fast paced team that brings high-quality VR projects to life. They are a hybrid Vancouver-based studio so are happy to consider candidates from all over Canada to work remotely. They also offer relocation assistance to candidates who wish to move to BC, Canada. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of designers, engineers, and UX/UI specialists to develop efficient UI systems and develop user-friendly experiences.
  • Work with the Creative Director and Lead Game Designer to define the user experience in a game and prototype spaces and interactions in VR/AR.
  • Test for scale and usability while working with artists to concept and model the User Interface (UI).
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of UX UI Designers and Developers.
  • Own the pipeline for UX and UI and work closely with the Creative Director.
  • Own any identified opportunities/improvements in current designs and iterate on new solutions.
  • Assist in coordinating usability testing and create action plans for Users Experience (UX) improvements.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of industry experience as a UI/UX Designer, and with a minimum of one game shipped (or worked on in your portfolio).

  • Experience working with VR/AR.
  • 2D/3D Illustration & Design for Game UI, Web, or Mobile app development.

Our client is seeking an Art Director for 4-6 month contract, with potential to extend.

● Lead the development of creative campaigns for both brand and key categories,

including: concept development, presentation, and production.

● Be involved in all aspects of creative from initial conception, overall look and style, to

direction of creative on set at photo and/or video shoots, to approval of post and layouts

for banners omni channel initiatives.

● Develop strategically relevant creative solutions based on the information gathered from

all documents including the creative brief and integrated team members.

What You Will Need

● 5+ years of experience in the Graphic Design/Art Direction/Marketing field in creative

● Experience in creating/concepting for digital-first is preferred; experience in creating

Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, the primary purpose of the People & Culture Coordinator is to provide prompt, accurate and confidential services and support to employees at MNBC. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process employee information such as new hires, leaves, terminations, redeployments, salary changes, etc. by keying information into HRIS and other related databases based on policy, procedures and in conjunction with payroll deadlines. Monitor out-of-ordinary situations and follow up with appropriate parties.
  • Enrolls new employees in the benefits program. Answers questions pertaining to pension enrollment.
  • Process various employee correspondence including employment agreements, confirmation of resignation, leaves, etc.
  • Assist with the managing of WCB claims, sick leave, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other leaves.
  • Support hiring managers by conducting full-cycle recruitment activities such as advertising job vacancies, optimizing recruitment strategies and developing a pipeline of talent for current and future opportunities through networking activities.
  • Attend job fairs, career events and participate in online event planning.
  • Ensure work permits and documentation are valid and support employees through the immigration process.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in Human Resources. CPHR designation will be considered an asset.

  • Knowledge and/or awareness of the historical and contemporary contributions made by Métis people in B.C.

The EP will counsel key clients and lead the development and production of experiential marketing campaigns, activations, experiences and more. The EP will be charged with delivering creative ideas that meet client objectives using a wide arsenal of experiential tactics including live events, emerging technology, strategic partnerships and more. They will collaborate very closely with creative, account and strategy teams early on and play a big part in developing and executing innovative creative executions. This position will manage/support key client projects, with a ranging scope size, from production brief to implementation. These responsibilities include managing, monitoring, and maintaining the project scope, task timeline, operating budget, required staff/resources, and overall quality of the resulting deliverable. The anticipated base salary range for this position is$94,000 — $152,375. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company’s incentive compensation plan is subject to change. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available. We are looking for a dynamic team member to join our Creative team located in our Burbank corporate office. The ideal candidate will have the right combination of design, strategy and leadership. The ideal candidate will be partnering with teams across the Company to understand design needs and building out creative strategy accordingly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visionary leader with experience translating brand positioning into a meaningful platform and storytelling and product campaigns.
  • Give as much care to the work’s effectiveness as the creative craftsmanship and elevated aesthetics.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Senior Management team in steering our brand strategy, with experience writing from sharp consumer insights.
  • Develop and steer the brand identity, language, and visuals, owning the vision for how the brand will evolve.
  • Create and oversee design and campaign development from product innovation through production.
  • Inspire, mentor and direct creative team, coaching team growth while navigating and managing timelines and deadlines.
  • Synthesize creative ideas for adaptation by local markets and external partners (agency or production) when needed.
  • Passionate about design, luxury and retail, you actively seek out new design innovations, trends, retail experiences, and potential partners (production, talent and brands), understanding what’s relevant and on brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of related experience in a luxury skincare or personal care product space.
  • 5+ years of people management experience – specifically managing copywriters and graphic designers to support a brand narrative across multiple channels and media.
  • An exceptional portfolio of work; experience developing brand platforms and brand books, with experience in global toolkit development across video/ motion, photography stills, digital, experiences and retail.
  • Experience and comfort in partnering and overseeing creative vision across teams.
  • On set photography experience with a sensitive eye for luxury art direction, photo/video editing, cropping, and retouching.
  • Expertise in modern media environments and creative best practices, with emphasis on platforms like TikTok, Instagram and owned web channels.
  • Superior and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, project management and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of appropriate usage of the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, image optimization for web, and other web authoring / motion graphic tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Creative specialty strongly preferred.
