An Executive Producer is responsible for the overall editorial content on all platforms produced by Telemundo Nebraska

Job Duties

  • Conceive, proofread, and execute daily newscasts scripts; incorporating top news stories responsible for on-air look and program format
  • Develop future segments, special event coverage, sweeps planning, incorporating evening anchor talent
  • Collaborate with promotions and sales
  • Oversee the reporters and content producers
  • Collaborate with other newsroom colleagues for special events planning as well as day-to-day coverage
  • Work with all facets of the organization, including production, IT and engineering to ensure the most accurate and compelling local coverage
  • Responsible for managing the production of news, any specials, and other productions outside of the regularly scheduled newscasts.
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned by News Director.
  • Contribute and develop content for digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with Digital Lead to develop content and promotion strategies on all platforms
  • Manage playlist like a newscast rundown to maximize opportunity for engagement.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in journalism or equivalent work experience

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in newsroom management

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in newsgathering and/or production

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience writing, producing and desktop editing

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in Omaha NE.

• Must be 18 years or greater

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

• Proven ability to speak, read and write fluently in Spanish.

• Proven ability to understand and communicate well in a duo Spanish/English-speaking environment.

• Strong editorial judgment as well as the ability to respond and make decisions in a breaking news situation for coverage across multiple platforms

• Ability to lead the newsroom

• Experienced at providing ongoing feedback to develop individuals

• Innovative and creative thinker who will push to make Telemundo Nebraska local content the best in the market

They are looking for a strategic expert in innovative digital campaigns to join their global, dynamic team. In this Audience Digital Insight role, you will play a key role in gathering and utilising audience insights to design forward-thinking digital strategies to help achieve their mission of a safe and stable climate for all.

This flexible role can either be fully remote on a permanent basis from the UK/EU or a hybrid from their London office if you prefer to be in the office some of the time. Our client has a number of offices worldwide.

In this mission-led organisation you will help to create more political, media and public endorsement for action on climate change on an international scale. You will use your expertise in digital tactics and strategies to build ground-breaking advocacy/social policy projects and data driven products, whilst supporting a network of digital communications experts worldwide. Using your strong experience of interpreting audience insights, you will play an active role in sourcing and translating these vital insights into actionable and effective advertising and communications.

We’re seeking an experienced, positive and highly organised creative producer to join our fabulous video production team. You’ll be producing a mixture of filmed and animated content for clients big and small, including social content, brand films, case studies, explainer animations and everything in-between.

We’re a busy department with lots of projects live at one time, so being able to work under pressure, juggling tasks with a smile is a must. Your daily activities will include:

  • Liaising with clients at each stage of production and providing regular updates.
  • Managing production schedules.
  • Briefing internal and external resources on daily activities.
  • Booking freelancers and equipment.
  • Producing call sheets.
  • Coordinating filmed shoots, including crew, kit, talent, locations and logistics.
  • On-location producing at film shoots.
  • Edit producing with editors and animators.
  • Reviewing and proofing videos.
  • Managing client feedback with the production team.
  • Ensuring all client work being done is consistent with brief, brand and budget.
