KGO-TV, the ABC-owned station in San Francisco, is seeking a Weekend Executive Producer of Streaming and Production to launch daily live news programs for ABC7 News Bay Area’s streaming channel and oversee our weekend content team. This is a rare opportunity to build something from scratch with the freedom to be wildly creative.
We are looking for someone to join our team who understands important issues for the Bay Area market and an innovative leader with superior news judgment. The ideal candidate has experience producing and managing compelling TV and digital content.
You will be a great addition to the ABC7 News team if you are a hard-working, self-starter who is extremely curious and constantly keeps up with local and national news. Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of weekend news coverage on all of KGO/ABC7 platforms
- Guide assignment editors, and linear and digital producers on editorial content decisions
- Copy edit linear and digital scripts
- Pitch story ideas on a daily basis
- Communicate well with others in the newsroom, and across station departments
- During the week, fill-in for Executive Producers on all dayparts or work on special projects
- Collaborate with digital team members throughout the day
- Recruit high-performing candidates for opportunities and train current staff to acquire or enhance skills
- Foster a positive workplace environment and encourage collaboration
Basic Qualifications :
- Minimum of five years’ experience producing or other content roles at a local news station
- Management experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work under deadline pressures and work in a rapid, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong editorial and production skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be flexible with working hours (nights, overnights, holidays) and adaptable to change
Required Education :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Position Summary
Electric Monster is seeking associate creative producers to join our team. You are smart, ingenious with creative solutions, and meticulous with research. This role is a part of the Creative Department reporting to the head of creative, but temporarily reports to the Post-Production Supervisor. This role would guide creative for our growing team of illustrators, assistant animators, and animators. This position leads creatively on our original content and brainstorms song/episode ideas in collaboration with the strategy department. This role will greenlight ideas into production, give direction to songwriters, review lyrics, and visualize them with input from the Strategy and Creative Department for input on the format. Also, consult with the Post-Production department to ensure the scope of the animation is feasible with deadlines. Develop creative briefs for the animation team. Review various stages of the animation to ensure the vision is adhered to. This is a Full-Time freelance role with potential for staff.
This role is a great fit for someone who wants to take the lead and turn songs into engaging animations for kids’ programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with the Strategy department to identify song subjects then communicates clear direction to the songwriters and gives notes on lyrics and music.
- General support and assistance for the animation team
- Manage all tracking as production iterates; includes keeping detailed notes as we update and organize scripts, audio, and design documents
- Tracking animation episodes from start to finish, ensuring lyrics, music, illustrations, assemblies, and cuts fit the vision.
- Working with Creative Production and Post Production Supervisor hit creative brief deadlines
- Communicates notes on videos to ensure the creative vision outlined in the Breakdown Document
- Support the animation department with the creation, revision, and maintenance of all production documents including the strategy lead programming calendar, creative briefs for episodes, lyric scripts;
- Maintain excellent relationships with vendors and outside resources.
- Assist the Creative department, Strategy team, and Post Supervisor in order to complete all aspects of creative decisions for animation.
- Maintain workflow of the animation department.
- Assist with music selections; and handle file deliveries with sound designer
- Test and analyze content for quality assurance
Position Requirements
- A clear understanding of language and the creative process around music and animation composition.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Drive
- Enjoyment and understanding of YouTube culture, internet culture, kids programming, animation, etc.
- Understands the pacing of kids programming and various formats
- Meticulous research skills in order to make content accurate and educational
- Knowledge of 2d illustration and 2d animation workflows for fully animated series
- Ability to visualize scripts for animation in 2d
- Possess excellent organizational and communication skills
- Takes feedback well and continually adapts to changing needs
- Has the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

We are looking for a creative services producer that will help with planning, oversight and execution across multiple creative deliverables in the marketing department of Crunchyroll. This producer liaises with internal and external partners in the creation (concepting, development and production) of creative marketing assets both on and off our platform. This role is integral to bringing all pieces of creative together.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Project Management / Producing – Proactively manage multiple design and video projects for all lines of business within the marketing organization.
- Must be an effective liaison between various stakeholders within Crunchyroll as well as external agencies and vendors.
- Plan and schedule kick-offs, review sessions and presentations based on project schedule.
- Work closely with stakeholders, strategists, VP, CDs, and ACDs to ensure projects stay on target.
- Create detailed notes and next steps. Responsible for regular project updates, including but not limited to budget, schedule, resources, and progress on deliverables.
- Confirm that all requirements and specifications are accurate throughout the project and all internal processes and workflows are maintained. Ensure successful project delivery including actualized budget, internal archiving etc.
- Required to meet budgets and quick-turnaround deadlines.
- Ability to quickly pivot and adapt to our ever-changing industry without losing focus on our business goals
Communication and Collaboration – Collaborate with global stakeholders, strategists, VP Creative, CDs , and ACDs for all department level needs. Oversee project communication (internal and external) to ensure professional and friendly tone.
- Build a positive relationship throughout the project with lines of business and channel marketers.
- Proactively anticipate and address project needs with appropriate solutions. Participate in review sessions and presentations to help further the overall project goals.
New Project Facilitation – Define marketing project expectation and goals in collaboration with key project stakeholders.
- Create, iterate, and track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets in order to achieve project alignment and approval.
- Build a detailed project plan within the project management system (Wrike), including internal and licensor review considerations, budget, schedule, deliverables, and creative team assigned.
- Maintain familiarity with entertainment industry culture and marketing project management tools and processes.
- Exhibit a willingness to take on responsibilities outside of their job description and the ability to respond to business demands in a fast-paced environment.
Work Requirements:
- 3+ years in project management in entertainment marketing services, creative service agencies, network promotions or a similar field (broadcast, digital, print, and experiential a plus)
- 2+ years of relevant experience at a high-growth technology company; Media and Entertainment experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication, strong collaboration, problem solving, time and project management
- Ability to manage projects from concept through execution.
