The Opportunity
We seek an experienced and detailed Director of Product to drive all new development and production efforts. With extensive experience in textiles and soft goods product management and a passion for sustainability, this role is the glue between all departments and acts as the foundation of the team. Working cross-functionally with finance, sales, operations, and marketing to successfully launch sustainable products and textiles on time and within budget. What You’ll Do
- Works closely with the VP of Product to drive short and long-term product development strategy for both branded finished goods and B2B textiles.
- Drive product development from concept through production, owning the development calendar, PLM data, WIP, testing, and cross-functional coordination.
- Manages relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met, and the brand’s sustainable and ethical standards are upheld.
- Owns and manages product master data, SKU creation, cost sheets, BOM’s, Tech Packs, and UPC creation.
- Owns project timelines, keeping all stakeholders informed and on track to hit GTM launch dates
- Manages raw material tracker, vendor database, and development logs
- Manages high-profile custom development programs working directly with brands and mills to achieve on-time, on-spec and on-budget execution

What you will need:
- 7-10 years of experience in a similar role with textile-related knowledge

- Background knowledge of performance fabrics, technical treatments, yarn and textile engineering, printing, and novel dyeing processes.
