Casting Call: Background Actors with Downscale/Beater Cars

Job Details: Central Casting is seeking Union or Non-Union individuals for an upcoming project. Participants must own a downscale or beater car from the years 1990 to 2013, excluding colors black, red, or white. This role is for background actors who will provide their own vehicle for use in the production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Availability for the entire shoot day on January 18, 2024.
• Bringing your own vehicle to the set and allowing it to be used as part of the production.
• Following directions from the production team regarding the placement and movement of your vehicle.
• Being prepared for potential wait times or varying shoot requirements throughout the day.

Requirements:

• Must be registered with Central Casting.
• Own a downscale or beater car from the years 1990 to 2013. Cars should not be black, red, or white.
• Able to transport your vehicle to the Santa Clarita location.
• Flexible and patient with the dynamic nature of film production.
• Good communication and ability to follow directions.

Rate: $208 for 8 hours (plus overtime if applicable) + $50 car bump
