Buying a car is a major, exciting purchase for customers which involves many steps & considerations from researching vehicles online, to understanding financing, to ultimately buying that perfect car – Each year, millions of customers come to CarMax searching for their perfect car. The Retail Strategy team leverages data, analytics, and strategy to help ensure customers receive a great experience today while driving CarMax’s eCommerce & omnichannel transformation.
There are several sub-teams on Retail Strategy who focus on the different parts of the retail shopping journey. As a Manager in Retail Strategy, you will work with business partners in our Product, Technology and Operations departments to help drive the retail business forward on a team focused on one of these areas:
- Web Strategy – Works to analyze, understand, and inform priorities to optimize customers’ upper funnel search & finance experiences on CarMax’s digital properties
- Product Strategy – Works to build & enhance online progression steps that allow customers to complete as much of the car buying process online as desired
- Customer Experience Center (CEC) Strategy – Works to ensure CarMax’s contact center provides exceptional service to customers needing assistance via phone, text or chat while shopping remotely for a vehicle

ABOUT THIS POSITION:
WOO More Play is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media and highly crafted content creation that connects the WOO community through various online social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, TikTok, etc). The Social Media Coordinator is responsible in delivering inspiring, disruptive and innovative content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy, calendar, content and posts across all major platforms (currently TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Linked In. Potential to expand to other platforms down the line)
- Build and update a social content calendar, including sourcing imagery/videos/UGC content, creating (in partnership with design) original graphics/content/video, and (in partnership with copywriter) copy across organic and sponsored posts
- Collaborate with Creative Director and creative team to create engaging social-first content, campaigns, and other social media posts
- Ability to create original content on your own (specifically TikTok)

The Own Brands Product Development Department has an opening for a Senior Product Development Manager. This position is located in Dublin, CA.
The Senior Manager, Product Development, collaborates with cross-functional team as the lead Product Development resource to develop new and reformulated products from concept through retail execution, including key sensory attributes, shelf life, nutrition facts, processing, packaging, safety, coding, and regulatory compliance to assigned categories. Represent Product Development at key meetings to provide technical guidance and strategic direction. Analyze data and translate into actionable insights. Stay current with industry trends. Leads a team of experienced product developers as assigned.
Main responsibilities
- Leads a technical team to develop and approve new and reformulated food products based upon product quality & performance, cost, and project timelines. Includes reviewing product performance, conducting product sensory evaluations, researching product standards and attributes, product safety, and product shelf life.
- Develop, review, and/or approve packaging labels for new and reformulated products, assuring technical accuracy and internal requirements.
- This role is expected to work autonomously with cross-functional team members on key projects to ensure on-time delivery of strategic business and departmental initiatives.

- 10+ years of progressive Commercialization and/or Product Development experience, preferably in the dairy and/or plant-based industries; 5+ years of product development in the food service channel; minimum of 2 years experience (ideally 4+ years) working with and/or manipulating functional proteins; minimum 8 years experience directly managing and developing people

What will you do?
- Lead and motivate R&D staff in the technical aspects of development and commercialization through the investigation, planning, pipeline execution, product and process improvements, troubleshooting projects, and cost savings

Annual base salary range: $130,000 – $180,000.
