Role: Part-time Social Media Manager

Contract: FTC 6 months – with the view to extend. This is a part-time position for 2.5 days per week – we are flexible as to what this looks like.

Location: Hybrid / London

ROLE MISSION

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join an exciting team leading the way for one of Europe’s largest sushi brands. We’ve worked closely with the brand over the last year to launch its new creative platform and brand guidelines and now our focus is turned to its voice online. You’ll be responsible for leading this new focus and taking the reins of its social presence.

We are looking for someone that is passionate about social and can translate the brand’s incredible personality into conversations on social media, understands how to best leverage social’s unique strengths and sees the bigger picture for the brands opportunity on social.

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF…

  • You live and breathe social and know the latest developments online like the back of your hand. You understand what is going on behind the social feed, the difference between paid and organic, can interpret a social strategy and also know what’s currently trending on TikTok, but also importantly why it is and how to tap into it. You work well with creatives and content creators, but you are also a dab hand at coming to the table with ideas too.

ABOUT THE TEAM AND WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Creative Director the Social Media Manager is a highly collaborative role within the team of 8, working closely with the Account Manager and the Creative team.

You will support always-on content and campaigns, and work closely with international markets with cultural competency. The role is responsible for providing strategic best-in-class advice to the client and agency teams, writing/creating beautiful and engaging social content and managing the client on BAU briefs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Community management

  • Provide on-brand responses to influencer and consumer @mentions

  • Monitor feeds for relevant opportunities to inject the brand into culture

  • Champion platform best practice across all content developed for your brand – ensuring content is platform native
  • Support in development in social channel strategy workstreams
  • Plan and create social content calendars
  • Present content ideas and brand social strategy to clients

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Strong experience in:
  • Leading social for an FMCG brand (in-house or agency-side)
  • Social creative ideation and social strategy
  • Demonstrable experience showing growth on their brands
  • Solid understanding of marketing channels, specifically social

What You’ll Do:

  • Produce still life + in studio photo shoots
  • Generate contracts, manage contract tracking + vendor follow up
  • Help manage photography budget, including invoicing, forecasting, and month-end close process
  • Editorial Image Research, Stock Image Buying
  • Research still life photographers and prop stylists
  • Manage Design Team model needs + Model schedule

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in photo shoot production and art buying and/or project management (fashion retail experience preferred)
  • Ability to work in NYC office 4-5 days/week
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and drive process

We are looking for a Developer Relations Manager in our Software R&D Department! You’ll be Pixar’s first point of contact for partner information management regarding Universal Scene Description (USD). You will promote standards and good development practices by actively engaging with partners and developer communities to build relationships and answer questions pertaining to our open source software and surrounding procedures. This position requires a blend of technical skills coupled with content development, presentation, and customer-facing skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate, evangelize, and drive USD adoption
  • Partner with engineers and management to develop recommendations for the product roadmap and process improvement
  • Help educate and support internal & external teams on relevant industry trends
  • Take a data-driven approach in defining developer relations success metrics and prioritizing work so that progress can be clearly measured and communicated to stakeholders

The hiring range for this position in Emeryville is $143,140.00 to $185,240.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

THE ROLE

In this newly created role, you will be in the Influencer Marketing team, working across influencer performance campaigns and overseeing the execution of Farfetch Livestreams. You will play a key role in the planning and delivery of all livestreams, championing innovation, data and creative thinking to deliver a best-in-class livestream strategy that provides a multi-dimensional shopping experience to customers. You will also deliver best-in-class acquisition campaigns to support scale across the full spectrum of influencer tiers and across all areas of Influencer Marketing – Identification, Activation, Content Creation, Distribution, Measurement and Retention.

Working with multiple stakeholders across the business (Marketing, Commercial, Brand & Creative, Product and Analytics) you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a centre of excellence and that the channel is set for global success and remains ahead of the curve.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Prepare livestreams, communicating any risks ahead of time and working with the relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure the smooth running of weekly livestreams, communicating with our customers and encouraging chat engagement. Please be aware that this role requires you to work outside of “typical office hours” on stream days, your working hours will be managed in line with Farfetch’s flexible working policy. This policy allows you the freedom to adjust your daily start and finish times as needed, provided the contractual number of hours per day are worked.
  • Define the key performance indicators for livestreams and champion continued measurement. Analyse and report on KPIs to measure success, and identify potential efficiency improvements, and determine solutions for at-risk areas. Provide direct support to senior members of the influencer team, and support defining goals and actions from the livestream strategy, making recommendations based on expertise.
  • Retain competitive advantage by ensuring the livestream strategy recommendations are innovative and Farfetch is positioned as a market leader.
  • Execute and implement the operational plan and deliver against the defined strategy ensuring a centre of excellence.
  • Communicate with other departments and teams globally to exchange critical information, activities and processes. Identify opportunities and escalate risks to ensure business needs are considered and supported in the overarching Livestream strategy.
  • Execute best-in-class influencer performance campaigns, delivering these within budget to achieve monthly targets.
  • Analyse and monitor influencer campaign performance, making recommendations based on performance insights.
