MARKETING

The marketing department consists of more than 150 people split across 10 teams. We look after both digital and brand marketing. We’re a team of experts across Performance Marketing, SEO, CRM, Analytics and Data Science, Advertising, Sales, Editorial, Online Communications, PR & Brand Events and Creative. We work across all of the global markets. We make sure that Farfetch remains high and mighty with both new and existing customers. We set the bar apart from our competitors and make sure we are always one step ahead of the curve.

LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.

THE ROLE

In this newly created role, you will be in the Influencer Marketing team, working across influencer performance campaigns and overseeing the execution of Farfetch Livestreams. You will play a key role in the planning and delivery of all livestreams, championing innovation, data and creative thinking to deliver a best-in-class livestream strategy that provides a multi-dimensional shopping experience to customers. You will also deliver best-in-class acquisition campaigns to support scale across the full spectrum of influencer tiers and across all areas of Influencer Marketing – Identification, Activation, Content Creation, Distribution, Measurement and Retention.

Working with multiple stakeholders across the business (Marketing, Commercial, Brand & Creative, Product and Analytics) you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a centre of excellence and that the channel is set for global success and remains ahead of the curve.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Prepare livestreams, communicating any risks ahead of time and working with the relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure the smooth running of weekly livestreams, communicating with our customers and encouraging chat engagement. Please be aware that this role requires you to work outside of “typical office hours” on stream days, your working hours will be managed in line with Farfetch’s flexible working policy. This policy allows you the freedom to adjust your daily start and finish times as needed, provided the contractual number of hours per day are worked.
  • Define the key performance indicators for livestreams and champion continued measurement. Analyse and report on KPIs to measure success, and identify potential efficiency improvements, and determine solutions for at-risk areas. Provide direct support to senior members of the influencer team, and support defining goals and actions from the livestream strategy, making recommendations based on expertise.
  • Retain competitive advantage by ensuring the livestream strategy recommendations are innovative and Farfetch is positioned as a market leader.
  • Execute and implement the operational plan and deliver against the defined strategy ensuring a centre of excellence.
  • Communicate with other departments and teams globally to exchange critical information, activities and processes. Identify opportunities and escalate risks to ensure business needs are considered and supported in the overarching Livestream strategy.
  • Execute best-in-class influencer performance campaigns, delivering these within budget to achieve monthly targets.
  • Analyse and monitor influencer campaign performance, making recommendations based on performance insights.
  • Act as a role model for the team and initiate, encourage and facilitate positive change.
  • Be a Farfetch expert on livestreams and influencer marketing.
  • Support the wider Influencer Marketing team on key tasks as required.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are experienced in executing livestreams and have a high level of knowledge of key livestream trends
  • You are highly skilled in communications, able to produce captivating copy to drive viewer engagement and conversion
  • You have experience of working in eCommerce, with a working knowledge of key marketing channels and amplification touchpoints
  • You have demonstrated strong data and analytical skills and have an ability to interpret results, anticipate challenges and form solutions with keen attention to detail
  • You are a strategic thinker and are able to make recommendations on how to strengthen process and methodology
  • You are able to identify and resolve ambiguity, drive prioritisation between objectives and teams, and surface and address risks to success
  • You are solutions orientated and have experience of problem solving You are a strong team player skilled in stakeholder management, ready to collaborate and build relationships in order to influence key stakeholders
  • You are driven, forward thinking, innovative and agile and comfortable working in a fast-paced, adaptable environment

THE ROLE

The Social Media Assistant will play an integral role supporting the global FARFETCH social media team, helping to ensure a flawless delivery of exciting and innovative social initiatives and projects throughout the year.

You will play a key collaborative role with the broader creative and marketing teams within FARFETCH and gain a deep understanding of how social trends, formats and behaviours impact marketing/communications efforts as well as contributing to the 360’ business strategy to drive results. We are looking for a self-starter who isn’t afraid to try new things and brings loads of fresh ideas to optimise the FARFETCH social media strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Community Management: Assisting and supporting the Social & Community Manager with daily monitoring and engaging of our comments, DMs, and tags on social to ensure we are responding to our community and build brand love

  • Creator lead content support – supporting with creator research and identification, contracts, finance admin, brief creation, product ordering / delivery and approvals of all creator lead content for social

  • Social content delivery: Collaborating closely with the creative and editorial team to assist with managing and overseeing delivery of social content across all global channels

  • Concept Research and Ideation: Supporting the social team with early-stage campaign prep and trends, music and content reference research

  • Publishing: Leading on publishing within the social team including owning and implementing a publishing rota within the Social Media Executive across all social channels

  • Innovation: Staying on top of current trends in social media and contributing to platform strategy evolutions and campaign development

  • Reporting: Support the compilation of regular reporting as required

WHO ARE YOU

  • You are a creative thinker but also not afraid to use numbers to inform new ideas and concepts

  • You know TIkTok and Instagram because you are a creator yourself, understanding how to building and nurture a social community

  • You have a clear understanding of all other western social media platforms, with an understanding of Asian social networks as a plus, but not mandatory.

  • A keen interest in the fashion industry and an understanding of luxury behaviours is preferred

  • An obsessive attention to detail and a track record of operating in a fast-paced environment and being able to deal with ambiguity is essential.

  • A team player who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must as are excellent communication skills

  • Ability to adapt, interpret, prioritise and deliver actions promptly with a sharp attention to detail

  • Ability to work reactively with flexibility when required within a fast-paced environment

  • Confidence to go out to shoot and edit content on location, interact & interview subjects.
