Qualifications:

Position description
The CV Senior Media Producer provides AV and technical support to CV CME courses at CV CME education courses and events. This includes shipping gear to and from locations. During the event, the CV Senior Media Producer will be responsible for ensuring that the course meets the highest standards set by Mayo Clinic and the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities at live events include displaying presentations, audio mixing, webcasting, and utilizing audience response systems. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate a high level of troubleshooting abilities under stressful situations. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Knowledge of video switching, audio mixing, and lighting techniques are required. 80% of this position will be supporting live in person hybrid education courses.

Prior to the event, the producer will set up and negotiate any technical rental fees associated with the event and will work closely with the Meeting Specialist and Coordinator. The CV Senior Media Producer will create any audience response or webinar elements (i.e. links, graphics, QR codes, etc.) for purposes of distribution and promotion. In addition, the CV Senior Media Producer will inventory and inspect the audio-visual gear and suggest any upgrades or replacements to the CV Executive Producer.

The CV Senior Media Producer may be asked to fill a role as a video producer, camera operator, and director. This includes but is not limited to pre-production; directing and technical directing of in-studio, webinars, and on-location events; and post-production. May include providing video camera setup and operation for surgical, patient, or specialty recordings. 20% of this position will be supporting in-studio technical directing.

When needed, the CV Senior Media Producer will assist the CV Media Production Editor with the preparation of echocardiography images to be presented at live or recorded events or within written materials. This includes being the lead for the creation of echocardiography files to be passed along to other institutions or patients.

May assist with other responsibilities as determined by manager and workload. This position requires adherence to the Mayo Clinic Confidentiality policy. The incumbent is required to work extended hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Hours will vary to meet the requirements of the job. The incumbent must be able to travel and be able to work in high pressure and stressful situations.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Video Production, Communications or related area is required, plus six years’ experience in television, stage production or a related area. A minimum of four years of computer maintenance/troubleshooting and/or programming experience is preferred. Due to the speed at which broadcast communications and computer technologies are changing and converging, the incumbent for this position needs to have a unique background in video production, computer, and internet technologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects software. Requires strong human relation, communication skills, organization skills and the ability to function independently.

Additional qualifications
Skilled in creativity, graphic artistry, artistic conception, videography, photography, and adaptability. Experience with technology, typing, adaptability to new technologies and procedures, and medical imaging identification skills. Basic knowledge of medical terminology is helpful. This position will require travel and must be able to adapt to stressful deadlines.

As a Creative Director, you are poised to create truly transformational work. Why? Because you are an amphibian. A hybrid. A superhero and alter ego. But more importantly, you are a manager, running the day to day of certain brands, campaigns or assignments. You know how to make great work and you’ll show others how to do this as well. This role will require the building of trusting relationships among your creative team, larger agency team and a strong relationship with the client.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and inspire teams and lead the selling and executing of great work (20%)
  • Conceive and create killer work with your own hands at the highest level (80%)
  • Lead the selling and execution of killer work with the Group Creative Directors/Executive Creative Director
  • Contribute to new biz pitches and bring high caliber ideas to the table
  • Create strong and effective internal partnerships, leading collaboration across integrated teams
  • Exhibit a positive, constructive and collaborative attitude, even under pressure
  • Push yourself and others out of comfort zones to think differently and be innovative in what we deliver and how we deliver it
  • Understand strategic intent of projects and audience/customer goals.
  • Actively coach and mentor creative talent, helping develop their skills and performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or ad school credentials or equivalent industry experience
  • Eight or more years of agency or relevant experience at creatively renowned agencies
  • Experience leading account(s) and creative teams from start to finish of assignments
  • Killer portfolio with demonstrated versatility across all media
  • Strong experience in production craft across all media
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to travel as needed

As a Creative Director, you will articulate the creative vision and guide a multi-disciplinary creative team focused on Target’s ecommerce product and editorial photography and CGI imagery. With a deep understanding of photo art direction, you enable your team to create multi-channel style guides, ensuring that Target’s brand voice and culture infuse the work with an unmistakable Target approach, while seamlessly integrating a multicultural guest lens. You will collaborate with internal teams and partners and external partner studios to bring business strategies to life. You will advance creative solutions and challenge conventional thinking in tandem with the marketing and media teams to play in inventive spaces. You will consistently balance the needs of the business and the guest, elevated creative, cross-functional partnerships, and strong team leadership. About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience in leading creative functions in retail, advertising, design or related industry

  • Photo and video experience strongly preferred

  • Experience in leading, developing and building diverse creative teams

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, think critically, and communicate effectively, including the ability to clearly present concepts and ideas, including ability to interface with all levels of management

  • Possess a high creative taste level, drawn to newness, open to inspiration from a variety of sources, and driven to solve problems creatively.

  • Ability to provide clear, and actionable feedback on creative work

  • Able to see solutions from a Guest’s perspective using data and delivering against business needs without sacrificing creative vision

  • Firm understanding and proven track record of driving the business through creative

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
