Role: Zoey Camden (Principal)

• Description: To portray a Filipina female, age 18. Zoey is a “good girl” who is learning her boundaries. She is the daughter of Frank and Cheryl, a STEM enthusiast working for the new family business during the summer before college. Though young, Zoey is wise beyond her years and wants nothing more than to see her parents succeed and be happy, both because she loves them and because her future depends on it.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately portray the character of Zoey Camden.
• Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled.
• Collaborate with directors and fellow cast members to bring the character to life.

Requirements:

• Must be able to portray a Filipina female, age 18.
• Must be a Minnesota local or willing to work as one if cast.
• Must be available to shoot from approximately August 5th to August 11th.
• Current union status (SAG or Non-Union) should be specified in the application.

Compensation:

• This is a SAG ULB project, compensation will be provided as per SAG-AFTRA Ultra Low Budget agreements.

Casting Call: Principal Role for Pilot “Old Log”

Job Description: Delisi Creative is casting for a new pilot, “Old Log.” We are looking for talented actors to portray key characters in this exciting project. The shoot is scheduled to take place roughly from August 5th to August 11th.

Role: Frank Camden (Principal)

• Description: To portray a Caucasian male, 50s – 60s, WASP, with a great head of hair. Frank is Zoey’s dad and Cheryl’s husband. He retired early after selling his tech company for an enormous amount of money (or so he thought) to pursue his true passion: The Theater! Frank’s love for the theater is so intense that it blinds him to any problems with running it. He is volatile but unaware of it.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the character of Frank Camden authentically.
• Participate in all scheduled rehearsals and shoots from August 5th to August 11th.
• Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members to bring the character to life.

Requirements:

• Must be able to portray a Caucasian male, aged 50s – 60s.
• Must have a great head of hair.
• Ability to convey a passionate, volatile, yet oblivious character.
• Must be a Minnesota local or willing to work as a local if cast.
• Current union status (SAG or Non-Union).

Compensation:

• This project falls under the SAG Ultra Low Budget (ULB) agreement. Compensation will be in accordance with SAG ULB rates.

Casting Call: Cheryl Camden for Upcoming Pilot “Old Log”

Job Description: Delisi Creative is seeking a talented actress to portray Cheryl Camden, a principal character in our upcoming pilot “Old Log.” This role calls for a Filipina female in her 40s to 50s. Cheryl Camden is the matriarch of the Camden family, embodying wealth and ease. Having lived most of her life as a pampered princess, Cheryl is now eager and slightly overzealous about running the restaurant at the dinner theater she recently acquired with her husband. Despite being out of her depth, Cheryl has a big heart and is determined to see the restaurant succeed, constantly rallying her staff at every opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the character of Cheryl Camden, showcasing her journey from a pampered lifestyle to managing a restaurant.
• Engage in scenes that highlight Cheryl’s enthusiasm, determination, and heartfelt efforts to make the restaurant a success.
• Collaborate with the cast and crew to bring the character and story to life.
• Attend rehearsals and shooting schedules as required.

Requirements:

• Female, Filipina, aged 40s to 50s.
• Strong acting skills with the ability to portray a range of emotions and character depth.
• Reside in Minnesota or be willing to work as a local hire if cast.
• Must provide 2-3 current cell phone pictures (no headshots, please).
• Indicate union status (Union or Non-Union).
• Available to shoot roughly from August 5th to August 11th.

Casting Call: Makeup Test Subject Needed in Minneapolis

Job Overview: We are seeking an individual located in Minneapolis, Minnesota to participate in a makeup test conducted by a professional makeup artist visiting from Los Angeles. This is a temporary role suitable for someone interested in makeup and modeling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time at the specified location in Minneapolis.
• Sit for makeup application by a professional artist.
• Provide feedback on the makeup application process as requested.
• Participate in before and after photos for the artist’s portfolio.

Requirements:

• Must be currently located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
• Available for the full duration of the session tomorrow.
• Comfortable with having various makeup products applied.
• No allergies to common cosmetic ingredients.
• Previous experience in modeling or makeup sessions is a plus but not necessary.

Compensation Details:

• A flat rate of $150 for the session lasting approximately 3 hours.
• Payment will be processed at the end of the session.

Commercial Casting Call – Hockey Fans

Job Detail: We are currently seeking individuals aged 18 and over to be a part of an upcoming commercial shoot in the Duluth area. We are specifically looking for hockey fans to bring the energy and excitement of the game to life on screen. The commercial will be shot on 11/15, and we are looking for a diverse group of individuals to portray different types of hockey fans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the enthusiasm and passion of hockey fans in a commercial setting.
• Follow directions from the director and contribute to creating an authentic and engaging atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other cast members and crew to achieve the desired scene dynamics.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• All types and backgrounds are welcome to apply.
• Specifically seeking individuals aged 18 – 20 who can convincingly portray a youthful appearance.
• No prior acting experience required, but enthusiasm and energy are a must.
• Must be available for the shoot on 11/15 in the Duluth area.

Compensation:

Casting Call: Secret Star Shoppers – Reality Show Background

Job Description: We are seeking background individuals to participate in a new reality show, “Secret Star Shoppers.” This non-affiliated production is not covered under SAG-AFTRA contract rates, and as such, standard SAG rates do not apply. As a Secret Star Shopper, you will play a crucial role in creating an engaging and entertaining television experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a background shopper in a mall located in Minneapolis.
• Interact naturally with the environment, fellow shoppers, and occasional interactions with the show’s cast members.
• Follow instructions from the production team regarding specific scenes and actions.

Requirements:

• Must be available for shoot dates on Oct 31, Nov 1, Nov 2, and Nov 3.
• Must be able to work a full 8-hour shift on each of the specified shoot dates.
• Ability to act naturally and respond to on-set direction.
• Must be comfortable with being on camera, though the focus will primarily be on the main cast members.
• No prior acting experience required.

Compensation: Selected participants will receive a flat rate of $144 for each 8-hour working day. Meals will be provided during the shoot days.

Job Description: National Sports Center is looking for a stagehand or Utility worker on Friday, June 17th. 

Roles: Stagehand/Utility

• As a stagehand, you will be responsible for assisting with the set-up and teardown of stage equipment and helping to run rehearsals and performances.
• You will need to be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work long hours on your feet.
• Stagehands must be able to follow directions and work well under pressure. 
• You should be able to lift heavy items and set up/teardown; flexible hours are a plus
• It would be best if you were fully vaccinated & boosted.
