The Position: Columbus Academy seeks a part-time Upper School Assistant Librarian with responsibilities to begin August 10, 2023.

Qualifications (preferred Candidates Will Possess The Following Qualifications)

Position Expectations (the individual selected to this position will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities):

  • Collaborate with upper school librarian to design, develop lesson plans and teach a portion of the six sections of freshman research classes
  • Collaborate with the lower and middle school librarians to design the PreK-12 library curriculum

Our ideal Senior Art Director is a team leader who will push the boundaries of traditional retail online shopping to take our client to the next chapter by creating compelling stories and solidifying its strong brand. As one of the key creative leaders in charge of the brand identity and aesthetic, the Senior Art Director will be responsible for generating innovative visuals across all mediums: campaign development, graphic design, photography, branding, UI/UX + web, package design, 3D/CGI, and motion. THE ROLE

The art director combines conceptual and artistic talent with a strong proficiency in the technologies used to create layouts and design as overseen by the creative director. Physical Requirements

Work Environment

We have an immediately need with a CPG Food and Beverage client who is looking for an Art Director for a rebrand project who will work in partnership with the outside ad agency and the internal creative team. As the Art Director Designer you will build upon the initial brand book and develop components to help demonstrate the framework of the brand guidelines.

Must have experience building and developing brand books/style guides.

What you will do:

  • Logo usage, typography define placement.
  • Typography- Identify font style for both print and digital applications. Expand when fonts are used, which typefaces are acceptable as well as guidelines for additional styling, size, and use of color.
  • Building out the photography style guide to include but not limited to the color palette, saturation, focal length, shadows, lighting, composition, and background.
  • Help define product images and collect best use examples of how they should appear on marketing collateral.
  • Build website and social sites framework around all design elements.
  • Define graphical elements, typography, color schemes, and general page layout and formatting.
  • Build out the packaging guidelines to ensure consistent structure and consistency.

What we are looking for:

  • 6+ years design experience at in-house brand team or creative agency. experience in consumer products, or food and beverage brand, are preferred.
