Overview

East West Bank is seeking a Project Finance Relationship Manager in our Eastern Region and working with the National Project Finance Team in NY. This is a senior position which develops relationships with sponsors of renewable energy, gas fired, and infrastructure projects in the middle market. Responsibilities will include origination of senior debt financings of project finance transactions and working with our National Project Finance team in NY to underwrite, execute and close the transactions. In addition, the RM will cross sell products offered by East West Bank including GTS, Interest Rate/FX Swaps and Trade Finance. In cooperation with the NY team monitoring and managing the risk of the loan portfolio to maintain strong credit performance. Identify new markets to continue to grow business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with Project Finance sponsors in the East Coast region of the US
  • Originate senior debt financings of renewable energy, gas fired and infrastructure project finance transactions.
  • Work with the National Project Finance team in NY to underwrite, execute and close project finance transactions.
  • Cross sell products offered by East West Bank including GTS, Interest Rate/FX Swaps and Trade Finance

  • Coordinate the entire business origination, closing and client servicing to meet bank’s excellence of service standards.
  • Develop relationships with Center of Influence in the industry and other business referral sources in order to locate credit worthy prospects for loans and deposits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of middle market project finance banking experience.
  • Proven track record originating project finance transactions in the East Coast region of the U.S.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent work experience
  • Proven sales track record with client relationships that are transferable to the Project Finance business at East West Bank
  • Strong credit underwriting experience through on the job experience or from formal bank credit training program
  • Strong knowledge in FX/ Interest Rate Swaps, Trade Finance and Treasury Products
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. – USD $275,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the creative; Find versatile solutions to keep good ideas alive. Lead the evolution of creative concepts into even stronger executions.

• Mentor junior talent and other disciplines.

• Maintain existing network of preferred partners and contacts of go-to resources for creating any manner of project (crew, vendors, artists, agents etc).

• Lead the vetting process on productions to accurately scope projects while defining requirements, deliverables and success metrics. Determine whether ideas are feasible within the project parameters (time and money), and provide creative solutions as needed.

• Lead the execution of integrated productions (<$500k+) including development of SOWs and effective risk management, overseeing large multi-discipline teams, vendor procurement and management, and ensuring overall quality of work with multiple deliverables and multiple workstreams.

• Track and Actualize budgets per toolkit structure.

• Coordinate production meetings, notes, hot sheets, status reports, task lists, etc.

• Develop and manage multiple project timelines and resources.

• Have the foresight to see a project’s trajectory and put a plan in place to get ahead of its development. Being strategic and not only tactical and reactionary.

• Serve as the point person for all day-to-day internal and vendor communications. Be the backbone of the production and a confident leader for the group. Ensure that all key stakeholders are kept informed and (if needed) educated on the production process.

• Manage interdisciplinary teams of art directors, copywriters, designers account, PM, DP, editors, animators, tech leads, UX-designers, and developers.

• Lead and document post-summary meetings and suggesting ways to instill learnings within the department and across disciplines.

• First line of defense on evaluating when and what needs ie. permits, releases, usage terms and other rights clearances.

• Build strong relationships with Business Affairs as a partner in discovery and through the production process.

• Apply grace under fire, inspiring confidence within the agency and client teams that production is in control, on-time, on-budget and always versatile in finding solutions.

• Demonstrated experience scoping and managing large productions including development of SOWs and effective risk management, overseeing large multi-discipline teams and ensuring overall quality of work.

• Proven ability to assess feasibility of creative executions and propose production solutions that push the quality of work forward.

Though this is a remote position, candidates need to be in the LA area to be able to be in the office once every week.

Essential Functions

  • Develop business plans that identify the product’s value proposition, addressable market, serviceable market, and business metric objectives.

Your Mission

As Manager, Internal Communications reporting to the Sr. Director, Communications, you will supervise internal communications programs across Activision’s business to inform and engage our global employees. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in everything from producing division-wide meetings to crafting written and video communications within our organization.

This role is anticipated to be assigned as a hybrid work model position, with some work on-site at an Activision Blizzard office and some work remote.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and complete comprehensive long-range and short-term internal communication plans that outline what channels the team should use to communicate with employees.
  • Align our people around our values and business goals to help every employee feel connected to our mission.
  • Build and manage an internal editorial calendar to organize the strategic cadence of employee communications.
  • Draft accurate and error-free documents with a strong attention to detail.
  • Promote pillar awareness of and participation in major Activision projects tied to workplace engagement and satisfaction (Culture, DE&I, Future of Work).
  • Work with senior leaders and team leads on internal communications programs, helping them engage with their teams.
  • Produce a wide range of compelling content to support employee communications, including talking points, email drafts, decks, slides, video, surveys, hub articles, etc.
  • Experiment with creative ways to reach corporate employees with the news and information they care about.
  • Be a trusted partner; develop time-sensitive and important messaging for the teams you support, while also evaluating and reporting on sentiment of messages.
  • Identify and work on areas of opportunity where communication tools, messaging, frameworks, or channels can be improved for employees globally.
  • Cultivate relationships with global cross-functional teams and find opportunities to improve engagement with business operations from an internal communication perspective.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of our games and employee attitudes, surfacing stories that reflect who we are, what we care about, and what we need to know as a team.

  • 5+ years of proven experience working within the comms space serving internal or external audiences.
  • You have a diverse comms toolkit that you use to master any communication medium requirement.
  • You adapt quickly, are a terrific writer, are focused on delivering results, and have experience working well across a diverse group of internal partners.
  • You exercise great discretion as it relates to confidential information.
  • You can work independently and, in a group, to deliver assignments on time.
  • You have a depth of understanding of current trends in the internal comms space.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $87,480.00 – $161,910.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
