Job Overview:

The Vendor Paid Stock Support Colleague is responsible for all functions related to the flow of new merchandise for the brand. Perform other duties as needed

Essential Functions:

  • Complete general shipment process in accordance to productivity standards and ensure floor readiness
  • Assist the Merchandise Team in the movement of fixtures and merchandise for new product, season changes, and clearance sets
  • Assist in replenishment of stock onto the sales floor, inventory and markdown process
  • Responsible for customer carryout and special deliveries
  • Participate in stockroom maintenance, organization, and housekeeping
  • Process damages, transfers, and return to vendor merchandise
  • Maintain high customer readiness standards by delivering a clean, neat, easy to shop store environment
  • Follows shortage programs and procedures as they pertain to the receiving function
  • Daily hanger collection and sorting

Qualifications and Competencies:

Job Overview:

The Fragrance Sales Associate is responsible for providing professional services to customers by selling and demonstrating fragrances and related items, as well as contributing to the success of the department through achieving personal sales goals. Perform other duties as assigned.
Macy’s uses a scheduling plan that allows our associates to participate in the creation of their work schedules by managing availability and identifying preferences. Additionally, during key events and peak selling times, Macy’s may offer additional shifts to our associates, which they may pick up using the self-scheduling tool.

Essential Functions:

  • Acknowledge customers in a friendly and helpful manner within 30 seconds of their entry into the area
  • Handle all returns courteously and professionally
  • Sell brand fragrances and related merchandise according to customer service techniques and professional selling skills
  • Determine customer needs based on personal features and other customer preference related factors
  • Explain and demonstrate use of fragrances through actual application
  • Responsible for achieving personal sales goals
  • Use clientele program to maintain customer profile and contact information to increase personal sales
  • Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures
  • Attend product training classes and seminars
  • Ensure proper presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of stock
  • Participate in pre-selling and sales driving events to maximize sales
  • Ensure timely processing of new receipts, damages, testers, and return to vendors (RTVs)
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards
  • Ensure work area is free from hazards and work in a safe manner
  • Adhere to Loss Prevention control and compliance procedures

Your Daily Life at Bethesda Game Studios

In your role as Associate Producer, you will:

  • Work with project leads to guide projects from concept to ship;
  • Facilitate communication and accountability across disciplines;
  • Identify and help remove roadblocks;
  • Prioritize and assign tasks to the appropriate people;
  • Create and update schedules and tasks;
  • Ensure features of major tasks are prioritized with stakeholder, scoped and scheduled;
  • Collaborate with leads to determine best practices, development pipelines and resource allocation;

Being an Executive Producer involves managerial oversight for editorial content across multiple dayparts. This includes scripts for special content, politics and developing stories. This may relate to important daily news coverage, franchise, feature, or special event coverage and long-form pieces.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervisory responsibilities for newsroom staff and station personnel working on newscasts with particular emphasis on Producers, Associate Producers, Reporters, Multi-media Journalists, and News Photographers, ensuring the department’s staffing and assignment needs are met
  • Solve the challenges that come with dynamic news coverage
  • Develop backups for critical coverage
  • Oversee decisions on story lineup, video/audio elements, graphics and timing to construct a show
  • Work with Producers to create the newscast product
  • May fill in for Producers as needed
  • Produce special programming as needed
  • Perform writing, editing and digitizing functions as needed
  • Generate story and coverage ideas on a daily and long-term basis
  • Handles shift scheduling and approves paid time off when applicable
  • Follow through on all assignments meeting required deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Skill/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Proficient at inspiring staff to attain station goals of creativity, urgency and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and interact with all personnel within the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work rapidly and accurately
  • Ability to anticipate situations, meet strict deadlines, organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of current events and industry trends
  • Pro-active with demonstrated enthusiasm in dealing with breaking news and high-stress situations

  • Basic editing skills
  • Must adhere to attendance guidelines
  • Must be able and willing to work different shifts and be flexible with schedule changes
  • Working knowledge of general office computer software, newsroom software and basic non-linear editing systems preferred

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred or comparable television work experience
  • + 5 Years of producing and executive producing experience in television news
  • + 2 years of Management experience

  • Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
  • Varying schedule due to, breaking news and/or daily news coverage requirements
  • Provide 24×7, 365 days per year, on-call support. May entail phone or physical presence at the facility for equipment failure or other disasters. This includes, but is not limited to equipment and power failures, loss of contracted services, storms or severe weather, and schedule conflicts
  • Participation in an established on-call rotation
