Job Description

Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

  • Leads research and agenda development per event as briefed and

defined by Event Lead

  • Designs and executes new event formats and content creation ideas per event
  • Recruits high-quality, relevant and senior level speakers per event
  • Holds oneself and team accountable for key event deadlines as defined by Event Lead
  • Fosters productive relationships with internal stakeholders

Description

We are looking for a Video Producer to join our team and craft top-quality content to build a first-class in-arena atmosphere. As Video Producer, you will work closely with the Director of Game Presentation and Director of Digital Production to create content and support the video production needs of the in-arena presentation and entertainment teams’ social media. Duties include but are not limited to the following: production, shooting and editing of pre-game narrative videos, player features, marketing/sponsorship features, hype video edits, player highlight compilations, quick edits (pump and promotional videos), production and edits of performance team intro videos, and production shooting and editing of celebrity performers to be used for promotional content. This content will fulfill and enhance the overall in-arena show and atmosphere as well as the social channels of the Clippers’ entertainment teams and mascot. You should be a self-starter who can envision a project, and actively bring it to life from origin to execution.

Video Producer will regularly interact with the Director of Game Presentation for in-arena projects and will work with the Director of Digital Production on elements related to production.

This is a full-time position and sits in our DTLA office. In accordance with public health guidelines, we are currently working remotely and anticipate onboarding new staff in a remote environment.

New hires will need to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide verification of vaccination. What You Will Do

  • Produce, shoot and edit video content for all in-arena platforms.
  • Produce, shoot and edit features (player features, pre-horn narrative videos, partner features).
  • Hype video edits (tipoff videos, player highlight packages).
  • Production and edit of mascot and entertainment team intro videos.
  • Produce, shoot and edit promotional content for celebrity performers.
  • Quick edits (pump videos, promotional videos).
  • Attend most Clippers home games to capture footage and transfer to internal server on same day.
  • Adhere to internal processes such as shooting, logging, dumping footage, meeting timely deadlines, and attending mandatory meetings.

Your Background, Skills, And Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in the field of video production, certification from a design institution or 1-3 years commensurate experience in a related field.
  • Possess a deep understanding of video editing using Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and After Effects.
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4D is a plus.
  • Experience with ClickEffects and Ross Xpression is helpful.
  • Proficient in Windows & Mac Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge of production and post-production videos, with a strong sense of design.
  • Knowledge of sports, specifically basketball, is helpful.
  • Able to conceptualize and see projects through to completion.

The Senior Integrated Producer leads large integrated projects and is responsible for their creative and business success. Taking the creative vision to a new level, whilst staying on time and on budget, and meeting client business challenges in a way that demonstrates versatility, creativity and impressive problem-solving skills. As macro and micro influencers continue to drive commerce and culture, this person would oversee and lead a team that will be a focal point of how we identify, partner and work with influencers to help our clients reach their objectives.

  • Create and manage relationships to build a network of influencers and talent agencies to leverage with our various beauty clientele.
  • Identify and advocate paid and unpaid influencer initiatives that will improve audience acquisition, retention, and growth.
  • Create influencer and content marketing strategies and campaigns to support overall strategic marketing plans.
  • Use social listening, 3rd party data, research and insights to support your thinking
  • Craft media plans that amplify influencer content and activations
  • Manage budget planning, track budget spending, and align with relevant teams to inform budget status.
  • Communicate and coordinate between teams to align all team members; ensure communication between teams are transparent.
  • Project management: monitor status of project from kick-off to post performance review — check milestones and timeline to make sure on time delivery and conduct consistent post-mortem reports.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of culture, identifying macro and micro shifts in the landscape and helping teams connect these changes/tensions to brand and business opportunities
  • Ensure the work is achieving our clients’ broader business and marketing goals

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 7-10 years of agency experience in strategy and marketing, preferably in CPG or beauty
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience executing influencer campaigns
  • Experience working with influencer search platforms like Hypr and Julius
  • Experience working in Google Analytics and social listening tools
  • Experience turning quantitative and qualitative research into strategic recommendations
  • Bachelor’s Degree

The Role:

The Manager, Influencer Relations will report to the Director, Influencer Marketing and Talent Relations and will be based in Los Angeles. The role is responsible for authentically building and developing key relationships with influencers, makeup artists, celebrities etc, to grow Milk Makeup’s share of voice & organic reach in line with our values, positioning and objectives. They will do this by cultivating their industry connections to build strong relationships with key influencers, agencies and agents while also identifying and developing up and coming talent. The best candidate will have an innovative mindset, finding creative ways to grow Milk Makeup’s brand reach organically through content creation, brand + product amplification and education.

How you’ll THRIVE

  • Consistent relationship cultivation, development and maintenance with talent. 70% of time should be spent on entertainment (in post COVID)
  • Identify and nurture up-and-coming influencers, building authentic relationships to garner consistent content and media value
  • Maintain up to date expertise on the ever-changing influencer industry. Utilize this expertise to attract a new diversified supporter audience to Milk Makeup, ensuring the sustainability of our follower support for the future.
  • Identify prospective influencers by leveraging contractor and entertainment industry contacts.
  • Develop best practices for Milk Makeup and build innovative programs and partnerships to expand community, deepen existing relationship and scale content creation, traffic and sales exploding engagement and advocacy
  • Drive the expansion and impact of MMU’s micro influencer program
  • Drive an always-on events calendar with MMU community, to ensure our community is always engaged, talking about Milk and generating EMV.
  • Act as ambassador for the brand, driving MILK Makeup DNA + product education/artistry with influencer community
  • Oversee ongoing gifting efforts for all talent including influencers, makeup artists, VIP, etc.
  • Assist in developing earned strategy, management of budgets, planning and impact against different influencer tiers.
  • Measure and report on influencer program performance and KPIs; share results, insights and future recommendations with cross-functional teams and leaders on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in identifying and cultivating strategic key relationships and cultural partners in international markets.

We would like YOU to have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years marketing, influencer, PR and/or digital experience required at least 2 year digital influencer experience preferred
  • Exceptional existing relationships with top-tier influencers, makeup artists and talent agents + managers.
  • Deep understanding of program ideation, execution and scaling
  • A passion for social media & the beauty industry and knowledge & interest of beauty content & creators on YouTube & social media
  • Excellent analytics & operational skills
