We are a small but very hard-working team, and are looking for a PR/Influencer Account Director.

This client-facing role requires a communications leader who has solid experience in the field and knows public relations and influencer marketing extremely well. She/he can counsel internal and external stakeholders on strategy, pitch editors, execute campaigns and tackle challenges.

Our ideal candidate has ~5-8 years of experience in PR/marketing (brand or agency side), which includes campaign development, team and client management, team mentorship, media relations and creative strategy. She/he has a solid understanding of influencer culture, has existing relationships (media, influencers, etc.) and is good under pressure.

Beauty/lifestyle industry experience is essential.

The Public Relations/Influencer Account Director role entails:

  • serving as a key point of contact for key beauty clients and managing those relationships to ensure client satisfaction and growth
  • pitching media as needed and securing press coverage for a range of beauty clients

  • developing strategies and processes to optimize and maximize company efforts

Job Summary:

The Associate Media Director constructs the strategic groundwork for media plans. They work within the organization and led the development of building multi-channel media plans and tactics that deliver on client’s goals. They utilize industry trends, media tools and resources, and proven media to drive the strategic media recommendations.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Responsible for creating strategies and recommendations for media plans across on-line and off-line media: Video (National and Local television, OTT, addressable TV, Digital/Social Video), Audio (National and Local Radio, Digital Audio (including Podcasts), Print, and Out-of-home, Social, Search, and more
  • Develop a working knowledge of client’s goals, guidelines and strategies and an understanding of how that is translated through strategic media planning techniques

Qualifications:

The Role

Based in Ottawa and reporting to the Executive Producer, CPAC is seeking a bilingual (French/English) journalist to join our editorial team, who’s main assignment is with CPAC’s daily political program L’Essentiel, to create broadcast, digital and social media content. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is keenly interested in storytelling and embraces the challenges of producing content that engages the unique needs of different audiences across all platforms. The chosen individual will possess strong journalism skills combined with an ardent appreciation and knowledge of all things political.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Produce fact-checked dynamic and compelling content suitable for all platforms for CPAC’s daily shows;
  • Research information, writes scripts, sources images and produces content for various media platforms, including digital and social media;
  • Contribute to daily story meetings and pitches story ideas to the editorial team;
  • Work with hosts and producers to ensure fact and explainer packages and other editorial content is vetted before distribution on all media platforms;
  • Work with editors to produce graphics and other elements;
  • Select, edit, packages, posts and optimizes content for social media platforms including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram;

Qualifications (knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Journalism or Media Arts, or the equivalent combination of education and media experience;
  •  Three to 5 years professional experience in broadcasting or a combination education and experience;
  •  Excellent French language skills in order to write and produce content for broadcast and for digital purposes.
  •   Understands and maintains current knowledge of the Canadian political system, and of current and emerging issues and trends;
  • Excellent analytical and synthesizing skills; inquisitive, creative and a self-starter;
  • Excellent writing skills, including familiarity with Canadian Press style.
  • Advanced knowledge of video editing and video asset management platforms, computer system operation and maintenance, hardware and software.

The Executive Producer, National News will be responsible for leading a team of producers and associate producers in the production of live and recorded national newscasts. The EP manages content for digital and linear in conjunction with other news managers. Basic Qualifications :

Role responsibilities:

  • You understand the brand and our customer profile, and can align all content creation efforts accordingly
  • You set the creative direction for upcoming photoshoots and decide which content creators and influencers to collaborate with
  • You don’t just direct, you are able to carry and lead projects from inception to completion
  • You’ll work with our product development team to plan photoshoots and content creation for upcoming product launches, within the Dune Family and beyond
  • Oversee organic social media posts, reels, and stories

Qualifications

  • Ability to generate new creative and tell stories through visual and written content (copywriting)

Position Overview:

The Creative Studio Director leads AMG’s Studio Department by always striving to upgrade the creative product and helping to manage the many client programs. This position works to provide executional excellence with their team and is always future thinking about how to optimize the process.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Directing the creative function so that the environment, culture, team, capabilities, tools, processes, expectations, work style and other elements support the strategic goals and brand of the agency.
  • Helping to identify growth opportunities outside existing services
  • Set expectations and standards (build a culture) for Studio Team attitude, behavior, teamwork and professional development. Lead accordingly – conduct staff reviews, taking corrective actions and recommending promotions.
  • Building and maintaining working relationships with key clients.
  • Staying on top of industry, competitors, creative and managerial trends so that the department is continually prepared to compete and win in the marketplace.
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of all agency clients.
  • Deliver shopper marketing solutions that help our clients attain their sales promotion objectives.

Tactical Responsibilities

  • Manage programs from concept to completion – art direction, design, and copywriting
  • Designing and revising AMG sales materials as required
  • Work with the account leads to ensure that client projects are on time and client expectations are met.
  • Set expectations and standards for Studio Team attitude, behavior, teamwork, and professional development. Lead accordingly – conduct staff reviews, taking corrective actions and recommending promotions.
  • In concert with CSM, direct departmental activities, including allocating work, distributing project assignments among team members to play to team strengths, planning and providing day-to-day guidance/mentorship.
  • Leading, developing, managing, and nurturing all studio staff and instill a passion for collaboration, trust, and teamwork
  • Presenting and selling creative to clients.
  • Ensuring the creative function operates in an efficient, profitable manner.
  • Identifies outside resources, copywriters, photographers, web coders, technicians, and freelancers, and manages the resulting agency relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design or equally relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Creative Studio Director, managing staff
  • 10+ years as a professional graphic designer
  • Print production experience is required- understanding of CMYK/spot color, special effects, substrates, and packaging of deliverables to varying specs
  • Must possess experience working on a MAC platform and be at an expert level with Adobe CC apps and Microsoft Office
  • Practical experience with marketing design concepts, brand standards
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete projects on time and trouble-free
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Beverage Alcohol marketing experience desired but not required
  • Portfolio is required, candidates without a portfolio will be rejected
