We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Art Director to join our dynamic internal creative team. As the Senior Art Director for B2B Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing visually compelling designs that effectively communicate to our B2B partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of visual assets for various B2B marketing materials, including but not limited to PowerPoint templates, email templates, website visuals, brochures, one-pagers, sales collateral toolkit for banking partners & reseller partners, as well as trade shows/event collateral & booth design.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to understand their needs and translate them into impactful visual designs that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Template Design Expertise: Develop and enhance visually engaging PowerPoint templates and email templates that streamline communication and support marketing and sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years experience in advertising and graphic design, with a focus on B2B marketing materials and a portfolio showing relevant expertise, including PowerPoint design, email design, and brochure development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and a strong understanding of web design principles. Knowledge of Salesforce and HubSpot is a plus.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Demonstrated ability to think creatively, innovate, and push the boundaries of traditional design while maintaining a strong grasp of business objectives.

What You’ll Do

Job Overview:

As an Associate Art Director at LightSpeed Studios, you will oversee the visual development of our new open-world RPG. Your role involves defining and maintaining the artistic vision, ensuring it aligns with the game’s overall creative direction and resonates with a global audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the artistic vision and style of the game, ensuring a cohesive and immersive visual experience.
  • Lead and mentor a team of artists, animators, driving artistic excellence in all aspects of the game.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Narrative Director to ensure art complements and enhances the game’s narrative and gameplay.
  • Balance aesthetic goals with technical constraints in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Supervise the production of all game art assets, including character designs, environments, props, and visual effects.
  • Maintain clear communication with the development team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of artistic and project goals.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in an art-related domain or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in game art or related fields, with a demonstrated history of leading art teams.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in creating art for open-world RPGs or similar genres.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating artistic talent and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $125,540 to $229,990 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
