Job Title: Director, Social Data & Insights

Summary of Position

The Director of Social Data & Insights will be responsible for transforming social media data into actionable insights designed to inform marketing within the Motion Picture Group. The right person for this role is able to use data to identify insights and build themselves, is intellectually curious and is an innovator. Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute social listening and digital asset engagement reporting for upcoming and current film titles, both in house and competitive
  • Understand and apply knowledge regarding the historical, current, and evolving landscape of social media behaviors, usage, strengths, and limitations
  • Communicate the sophisticated vocabulary of social media analytics, insights, and research in brief for top-level scenarios, or simplified for the lay person
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships/partnerships across the organization to help solve marketer’s questions and ensure that the social consumer’s voice is being represented
  • Work collaboratively with external partners/vendors and manage relevant budgets
  • Provide additional support to the Data & Consumer Insights team as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • BS/BA required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with social listening or digital analytics, preferably at a media company or agency
  • Knowledge of social tools and vendors (e.g. YouTube Analytics, ListenFirst, Talkwalker, Wavemetrix, Fizziology) required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience writing Boolean logic and query-based searches preferred

Associate Director, Overwatch Community & Influencer Relations

As the Associate Director, Overwatch Community & Influencer Relations, you will set the vision and global strategy for Overwatch community efforts and lead the development of player-centric plans across multiple community disciplines – Influencers & Content Creators, Editorial & Community Management. You will also help establish goals and processes to ensure community programs are integrated with broader go-to-market plans, and work with international publishing teams to ensure that these plans are localized and relevant for our global player base. Finally, you’ll serve as the voice of both the players and developers, ensuring ongoing and transparent communications.

The position will report to the Senior Director of Publishing on the Overwatch Commercial team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and lead execution of community plans across both 1) Direct-to-Player communications (Editorial, Community Management) and 2) Influencer & Creator Engagement (viewership initiatives, affiliate programs, etc)
  • Apply process and frameworks to ensure strong execution and consistent measurement of HQ-led / North America-based activations that meet broader go-to-market plan objectives
  • Monitor, quantify and develop player sentiment reporting across regions to help guide communications strategy, and allow developer partners to better understand how their products are perceived and discover opportunities for future product improvements
  • Develop playbooks and process that sets direction for global community teams to build localized community plans that tie into the global strategy and plan
  • Continue to monitor the team’s infrastructure (processes, technology) to support daily activities, and build a solid foundation for future work
  • Mentor and motivate the Community team and help build development plans to support professional growth
  • Be the Overwatch Community Expert for cross-franchise projects and/or sensitive communications

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience working in online communities, influencer strategies and custom creator activations
  • Experience with presenting community strategies to executive and developer leadership teams, and working with cross-functional leadership teams
  • Experience leading with influence and managing teams, and collaborative campaign management
  • Experience with crisis management and sensitive communications
  • Knowledge of community best practices, including communication strategies, user acquisition, and driving users through the funnel
  • Experience / familiarity with the Overwatch community a major plus

Job Title: Director, TV Sales Planning & Analysis, International Distribution

Summary of Position

The Director, TV Sales Planning and Analysis will manage Planning and Analysis activities for international sales teams in the on-going measurement and communication of financial performance of TV licensing across all Lionsgate Film and TV product. The role will be responsible for forecasting revenues that will drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) reporting as well as help to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of annual budget and drive forecasts by salesperson, territory and region.
  • Maintain ultimates across TV Series and Motion Pictures films, making updates based on quarterly accounting meetings and ensuring the latest is loaded in the forecast.
  • Updating the 3-year revenue forecast for international territories and preparing variance analysis and presentation materials for executives.
  • Managing contracted and forecast data in Salesforce with the help of the sales teams.

We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years’ experience in custom quantitative research
  • Proven strength in all areas of quant practice from survey design to data analysis, able to tell the story with actionable outcomes. We’d expect you to be great in all aspects of questionnaire design, analysis planning, and reporting/story telling.
  • Someone who is passionate about movies and series – we work with the biggest entertainment clients in the world! – and experience to back that up.
  • Someone who is comfortable and confident thinking strategically, articulating and guiding others in uncovering consumer insights, and translating them into actionable outcomes for our entertainment clients.
  • Comfort with owning the day-to-day management of multiple projects simultaneously, developing and managing project workplans and ensuring timely completion of tasks within project deadlines.
  • Ability to manage project team members (including direct reports), assigning roles and responsibilities, monitoring work progress, and providing guidance where needed.
  • Experience with mentoring junior team members, including goal setting, skills tutorials, side by side writing, project management, etc.

  • Experience with hybrid qualitative-quantitative research and ability to effectively integrate the two in reporting; if you’re a hybrid and can handle both disciplines equally well, all the better!

Per the pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000. Manager, Awards

Our Consumer Marketing team within the Streaming group is charged with distribution and monetization of premium content across the spectrum of digital partnerships and business models. This includes our direct-to-consumer subscription service.

The Consumer Marketing Team is a diverse and agile group that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we deliver streaming content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume it.

Role Details:

  • The Manager, Awards will play an integral role in elevating our series & films for FYC awards contention throughout the year – including Emmys, Oscars, Critics Choice, guild awards and many more
  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Awards Strategy, this role will work closely with cross-functional teams – including creative, publicity, program marketing, media and more – to ensure seamless communication and asset delivery, while helping to build awards presentations and other key materials
  • The position will also help with management of marketing awards submissions (e.g. Clios)

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Create compelling awards presentations and other materials for studio partners, showrunners and internal stakeholders
  • Work with various teams to help streamline logistical elements of FYC campaigns – including communication, approvals of creative assets & media placements, and various promotional initiatives
  • Stay on top of awards cycle/schedule and landscape throughout the year to ensure the team is consistently maximizing FYC impact
  • Lead research initiatives to elevate the our awards brand in the market
  • Serve as key liaison between internal teams & external agency in management of marketing awards submissions & recognition

Requirements:

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4-6 years of experience working in a marketing organization, entertainment brand, agency, publisher or related
  • Exceptional organizational skills – the ability to juggle multiple projects, deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and manage a high volume of materials
  • Experience creating/writing decks and presentation materials
  • Strong interest in & knowledge of the awards and larger entertainment & media landscape
  • Great energy and enthusiasm: a strong communicator, relationship builder and contributor to a positive culture

Compensation:

  • $37.75/hour – $50.34/hour
