Project Description:

“Kitty” is a family-friendly short thriller that follows the story of a child who brings home the class pet, leading to unexpected and mysterious events. When a mother allows her child to bring home the class pet, she learns to regret the decision.

Casting Roles:

Lead Roles:

1. Child 1 (Boy or Girl to play age 9, 3rd grade-ish):

   • Role Description: It’s their turn to have the class pet for the week. Things have not gone to plan. With only a few days left with Kitty, can the child make it through the stay? Will Mom believe them that this cat is not what it seems to be?
   • Work Days: June 27th and 28th
   • Rate: $216 per day + $25 travel stipend per day + Lunch (Total: $482)

2. Child 2 (Boy or Girl to play age 9, 3rd grade-ish):

   • Role Description: This child is so excited to be taking Kitty home next. Little do they know…
   • Work Day: Half-day on June 27th
   • Rate: $108 + $25 travel stipend + Lunch (Total: $133)

• Students: 12-15 students to play 3rd graders
