Job Description
A production is casting featured background talent for two specific roles filming in Savannah, GA. These are paid featured extra roles with clear character types, ideal for talent who can bring personality and polish to camera while supporting the scene naturally. This is local hire only—no travel or lodging provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a featured character type on camera with natural, believable reactions

• Follow direction from the assistant directors and production team

• Maintain continuity across takes and stay camera-ready on set

• Arrive on time and work professionally throughout the shoot day

Requirements

• Must be able to work in Savannah, GA as a local hire only

• Available for the scheduled filming day

• Roles needed:

  • Alice Tank: white woman, late 30s–40s, “art diva” type with confident presence

  • Alice Tank’s Husband: white male, 40s–50s, polished “rich in a business suit” type

Compensation

• $200 per day (featured extra rate)

Bar Patrons (Background Extras)

Job Description
A period production is casting bar patrons for background extra work in an upcoming scene. Production is seeking white men ages 20–70 who can bring authentic bar atmosphere—natural reactions, casual movement, and believable presence on camera. If you’re reliable, professional, and comfortable taking direction on set, this is a great paid extra opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a bar patron with natural behavior and realistic reactions in background scenes.

• Follow direction for blocking, timing, and continuity across multiple takes.

• Interact naturally with other background performers as directed (sitting, chatting, reacting).

• Maintain a consistent look and stay camera-ready throughout filming.

• Work professionally with cast and crew in a busy set environment.

Requirements

• White men, ages 20–70 (or able to portray).

• Must be able to work as a local hire in Savannah, GA.

• Comfortable portraying a bar environment role in a period setting.

• Visible tattoos/piercings may need to be covered depending on wardrobe.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a full filming day.

Yardmen (Background Extras)

A period production is casting yardmen for background extra work in an outdoor scene. Production is seeking white men ages 30–70 who can portray working-class grounds crew with believable movement and a natural on-camera presence. If you’re comfortable taking direction, working outside, and appearing in period wardrobe, this is a solid paid extra opportunity for local talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a yardman/grounds worker with realistic movement and natural reactions on camera.

• Follow direction for blocking, timing, and continuity across multiple takes.

• Handle basic work props as directed (tools, buckets, rakes, etc.).

• Work professionally with cast, crew, and other background performers on set.
