Qualification Preferences:
● REAL RELATIONSHIPS – Looking for family, friend, caretaker relationships; looking for one who acts as a translator | interpreter for a loved one; established rapport
● ENGLISH + NON-ENGLISH SPEAKERS – Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin preferred, but ALL other languages will be considered. This should be someone who requires frequent language translation, they speak their native tongue and minimal English. They may struggle in everyday tasks because of a language barrier and often turn to a trusted | loved one to help translate and interpret.
● AUTHENTIC, REAL AND GENUINE STORIES – We want to hear about your common passions, hobbies; we want to get to know the dynamics of your relationship, how you communicate and we want to feel the genuine chemistry that connects you
● DEAF or HARD OF HEARING + NON-DEAF DUOS – Seeking a Deaf or Hard of Hearing person who uses ASL and technology to communicate with a Non-Deaf family | friend | caretaker.

This project will film 2-3 days. 1 day will be at Production’s location and the 2nd day will be in your personal location.
FILM LOCATION:
San Francisco | Bay Area AND In the duos hometown
We are open to residents outside of the Bay Area. If you are selected, production will travel talent and interpreter.
As part of the story, production will want to film you & your interpreter | caregiver in your own environment. This may be your home or work or hobby environment.
*Filming will adhere to all federal, state and local guidelines for COVID-19*

Run: One year, starting approximately April 15, 2022
This film will live on the Company’s YouTube and other Social Media platforms.
This is a Documentary-Style Short Film. It is not a commercial.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS
● This film does not hold a conflict, however, those who work with a Tech Company may not be eligible due to their contractual work agreement | conflict of interest.
● ALL BOOKED TALENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE A COVID TEST BEFORE FILMING. You will not pay anything out of pocket. Production will cover the cost of the test and pay you for your time.
● The client will run a Background Check and Social Media Check on all persons selected to film the Documentary.
● All talent selected and booked to film on set, must show PROOF OF VACCINATION. The Tech Company requires ALL employees to be vaccinated for CoVid. Talent booked for this documentary are considered employees of the Tech Company, and will be required to be fully vaccinated.
Although ALL persons will be tested for CoVid prior to the film shoot, a negative CoVid test will NOT suffice. Proof of Vaccination will be required at the booking process.
We respect your privacy, but if you are not fully vaccinated or don’t feel comfortable disclosing that information, this is not the project for you.
TALENT COMPENSATION:
All talent will be paid a rate for the film dates, and a rate for the buyout / usage of the film
COMPENSATION FOR DEAF PERSONS AND NON-ENGLISH SPEAKER
●Session: $800 / per 10 hr film day
●Buyout: $6,000/ 1 time paid buyout (a buyout is the payment rate for the usage of the project)
COMPENSATION FOR INTERPRETER | CARETAKERS
●Session: $800 / per 10 hr film day
●Buyout: $2500 / 1 time paid buyout if face is recognized in final edit of the film (a buyout is the payment rate for the usage of the project)
COMPENSATION FOR BACKGROUND | EXTRA FAMILY MEMBERS
●Session: $500/ 10 hr film day; no buyout for extras

** The CoVid Test Rate and Fitting Rate are included in the Buyout Session Rate ($50/per CoVid test and $75/fitting)
** For those outside of the San Francisco | Bay Area will have their travel and accommodations covered
** We will be booking 2 back-up groups for the project. Talent booked as BACK-UPS will be paid for holding the film days $500 / per person. If the first choice talent tests POSITIVE to CoVid, the back-up talent is immediately tested for CoVid; upon a NEGATIVE CoVid test, BackUp talent will then be “bumped” to OCP status and paid to film the project w/the above session / buyout rates
** You will be required to test NEGATIVE to COVID for the booking to be confirmed. If you test POSITIVE to CoVid, you will not be asked to come to set and film. Your booking becomes Null. However, you would be paid the CoVid test rate.
** Talent must be able to work in the US. Once booked, all persons will need to bring one of the following for I-9 verifications:
1. A Passport
OR
2. A Driver’s License
+ AND Social Security Card
Talent can not be paid without proper US ID.

Casting women in the beauty industry with Psoriasis
Allure is looking for a professional successful woman in the beauty industry who has psoriasis. Beauty industry professionals could include influencers, models, photographers, makeup artists, and others.
In ‘Turning Back the Filter’ they will profile women who post photos of themselves on social media, and use editing apps to conceal their condition. The talent will be asked to stop using these editing apps for a period of time and sit down to discuss what it is like when you peel back the layers and show “the real you.”
Talent would be needed for a 1 day shoot the first week of April.
Talent rate is $1750 for shoot and UGC content.
CASTING WOMEN WITH MIGRAINE TO APPEAR ON SELF
In Day in the Life we are looking for women in the TriState area with interesting careers or hobbies who have come up with five rules to live by to manage their condition while living their best life.
In Patient to Patient we feature two Tristate area migraine patients discussing their conditions with each other, sharing stories, support and prevention tips.
Those chosen will get $750 compensation for a 1 day shoot and usage. Shoot will be one day the first week of April.

Job Description
The Associate VFX Producer acts as the right-hand to the VFX Producer, helping to ensure proper management of the budget and production schedule for every show for which they are responsible.
This includes working with the VFX Supervisor and other Supervisors to establish and communicate plans and milestones for each project, communicating with clients on changes and closely following project budgets.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the VFX Producer with the evaluation of costs for potential projects with bid preparation;
- In conjunction with Project Managers, assist in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, including scheduling, planning on-set supervision, overtime budgets, etc.;
- In conjunction with the VFX Producer, follow-up on the progress and efficiency of projects, keeping a thorough tracking of the schedule and budget, ensuring Shotgun is up to date at all times. Ensure it is in line with the initial quote, the project plan and that it meets client requirements;
- Assist the VFX Producer in maintaining regular communication with the client on the status of projects. Ensure the maintenance of ongoing positive and collaborative working relationships with clients;
- Responsible for planning, coordination and follow-up on any special client requests (ex. trailers, screenings, etc.);
- Maintain regular communication with the VFX Supervisor and the VFX Coordinator on all necessary information relating to work in progress, identify any potential issues and propose solutions;
- Attend turn-over meetings. Note any issues and follow-up with clients to ensure their satisfaction;
- Coordinate mid and post-mortem meetings and assessments. Follow-up on any areas for improvement;
- Maintain documentation of all projects in Shotgun ensuring that data is accurate and that the production pipeline is followed;
- Assist with the preparation of project budgets, budget targets (days of work), as well as other types of projections or special reports. Assist with regular monitoring of budgets, analyzing deviations and discuss any discrepancies with the VFX Producer or the relevant team. Seek solutions to keep projects on time and within budget. Forecast scheduling and budgeting issues along with client changes that may arise.
- Assist the VFX Producer with bids for new shots or client changes throughout the project all while ensuring respect of deadlines and budgets;
- Positively represent Rodeo FX within the VFX and related communities, both locally and in the worldwide market, to further grow the company’s reputation as an industry leader.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of production experience in visual effects;
- Fluent in English, written and spoken. Functional french (or willingness to learn);
- Excellent knowledge of GSuite and Microsoft Office;
- Strong knowledge of Shotgun project management software;
- Excellent knowledge of the VFX Production process from concept to delivery;
- Excellent organizational and planning skills;
- Excellent sense of prioritization and respect of deadlines and budgets;
- Must be available for occasional international travel.
