The Studio at Situation Group crafts award-winning work for the world’s leading entertainment, education and mission-driven brands. The Studio seeks an Associate Creative Director (ACD) with a background in copywriting and strategy. This role will report to the VP of Creative Services and supports our clients in the nonprofit and higher education space.

What You’ll Do

The ACD provides creative oversight and functions as a high-level copywriter brainstorming, ideating and creating campaign executions. Working with our production team, the ACD ensures we are meeting project goals and the needs of the brief.

Our office is located in midtown Manhattan and we are currently working in-office three days per week.

Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Work with key stakeholders to keep creative aspects of projects moving forward while balancing timing and budget requirements
  • Closely guide creative ideation through every step of production
  • Champion the value of high-quality work and manage a supporting team of creatives inspiring them to produce outstanding work.
  • Represent our organization in high-level meetings with vendors and other partners
  • Present creative to the internal team, clients and partners and selling creative concepts internally and externally

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience at a creative agency or studio
  • Advanced skills as a copywriter
  • A portfolio of your work in lead and hands-on roles
  • Eagle-eye for details like spotting alignment issues and inconsistencies
  • Dynamic and confident presentation skills to pitch ideas clearly and effectively
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve efficiently, intelligently and with positivity
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment

A new production is assembling a skilled and reliable film crew across multiple cities for upcoming shoots. Roles are open for Production Assistants, Camera Operators with drone experience, and Audio Technicians. This is a great opportunity to join a professional team and contribute to a dynamic, creative set environment. Applicants must indicate the city they’re applying for: Cape Coral (FL), St. Augustine (FL), Orange Beach (AL), or Astoria (OR).

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the production team to execute shoot-day operations

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of gear, locations, and production zones

  • Operate cameras or drones to capture high-quality footage (Cam Ops)

  • Record clean, crisp audio on set using professional equipment (Audio Techs)

  • Maintain a professional, on-time presence throughout production days

Requirements

  • Previous on-set experience in your applied role

  • Ability to travel to one of the listed production cities

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

  • For Cam Ops: drone experience and access to drone kit

  • For Audio Techs: own audio kit

Compensation

  • Production Assistant: $220/12

  • Camera Operator/Drone: $650/12 + $150 drone kit fee

  • Audio Technician: $650/12 + $300 kit fee
