WHEN: STARTING 2/27

RATE:
$175.00** for 12 hours (12 hour guarantee + additional pay if over 12) must be able to commit to being on set 12+ hours. We may not need you that long, but must be able to commit to that.

WHO:
STAND-IN #1: MALE 5’6-5’8, 145-160lbs, 25-50 years of age, trim — Olive complexion, salt and pepper hair or darker hair, possibly latino

STAND-IN #2: MALE, 6’2-6’4, 25-55 years of age, Caucasian, trim figure, light brown hair, some gray mixed in is fine
Please note, these roles are being selected by our Director, so please only submit if you have open availability from mid- February – April. We will be holding interviews February 21st.

Covid Test: $30 compensation (on days not on set)

COVID/VACCINATION:
Consistent with the COVID-19 Return to Work Agreement, this production has a mandatory vaccine policy for individuals working in Zone A, which includes actors and background actors. This production may make limited accommodations as required by law for individuals that cannot be vaccinated because they are minors, have a disability and/or a sincerely held religious belief.

As of March 15th, 2022 the definition of ‘Fully Vaccinated’ includes a booster dose. If you’re NOT eligible for a booster dose until after March 15th, you can work until considered eligible for a booster.

Synopsis:
Music Club Kids is a scripted, live-action, musical comedy series created, written and executive produced by a Grammy-nominated, award-winning, Multi-Platinum veteran hit songwriter/producer (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, 70+ million album sales). Fun adaptations of smash hit songs known in every corner of the world narrate each episode’s adventures in stories that inspire kids aged 4-12.
Project Rate:
Contract role paid $50K year 1, $55k year 2, $60K year 3. + additional performance-based compensation.

Shoot Location:
Orlando, Florida
Production will negotiate travel arrangements if the talent is not a local hire.

RECEIVE $2,000 FOR ONE DAY OF FILMING.

Health Canada is seeking caregivers AND the individual receiving the care, who are interested in providing personal testimonials for meaningful PSA that will highlight the benefits of palliative care.

NOTE: Palliative care is not just end-of-life treatment/care. It’s a health service that can be offered at ANY POINT during a serious illness, from the moment of diagnosis through end of life. It’s any care that aims to improve the quality of life, and can be given alongside treatments intended to cure the illness.

CAREGIVERS OF ALL AGES, ETHNICITIES, AND GENDERS, CARING FOR SOMEONE WITH ANY SERIOUS OR TERMINAL ILLNESS, ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. (EXAMPLES INCLUDE ALS, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, CHRONIC RESPIRATORY/LUNG DISEASES (EMPHYSEMA, COPD, CYSTIC FIBROSIS, ETC.), CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE/HEART DISEASE, END-STAGE RENAL DISEASE, HUNTINGTON’S DISEASE, ETC.)

PLEASE NOTE:

– This is a NON-UNION project. No acting experience is necessary, but BOTH individuals – caregiver AND patient – must be comfortable sharing their stories on camera.

– To apply, BOTH caregiver and patient MUST be legally eligible to work in Canada.

– To participate, the palliative care recipient MUST live in their own home (house or apartment) and be willing to be interviewed in it along with you.

– If shortlisted, BOTH caregiver and care recipient MUST be willing to attend a brief online interview with the creative team on March 10th.

– If selected, BOTH caregiver and patient MUST be available for ONE DAY of filming between March 20-31 in the care recipient’s home.

– If booked, you will receive $2,000 TOTAL (as a duo) for one day of filming.
