Job Overview:

A major tech company is producing an episodic, interview-based short film series and is seeking on-camera talent based in NYC. We are looking for Interviewers and Subjects who are vibrant, expressive, and comfortable on camera, showcasing their expertise in a comedic but informative light.

Roles:

Interviewers:

• Personable and engaging individuals to conduct interviews.

• Must have quick wit and the ability to improvise.

Subjects:

• Experts in specific fields to serve as mentors or gurus.

• Ready to share their knowledge and experience.

Interviewer Talent Specifications:

• Ages: 18 – 25

• Particularly seeking:

  • PC or console gamers

  • Foodies

  • Musicians

• No on-camera experience is necessary.

• Improv experience is a plus.

Subject Talent Specifications:

• Open to all ages.

• Areas of expertise:

  • Gaming (Console or PC, card-based games, tabletop RPGs)

  • Food (Restaurant owners, food bloggers, chefs)

  • Media Production (Video producers, music video directors)

  • Music (Musicians, music producers/engineers)

• No on-camera experience is necessary.

• Must have quick wit and be comfortable with improvisation.

Requirements for All Talent:

• Must be NYC-based.

• Must have valid U.S. work authorization (W9 required).

• Must be available on December 11th – 13th, 2023.

• Open to all gender identities, sizes, ethnicities/races, and talents with disabilities.

• Open to both signed and unsigned talent.

Compensation:

• $200/day for stand-ins.

• Specific rates for interviewers and subjects to be discussed upon application approval.

TALENT SPECIFICATIONS

• Age: 18 -25

HEIGHT

• Men & masc 5’8″ – 6’2″
• Women & femme: 5’6″ – 5’11”
• Non-binary: 5’6″ – 6’2″
• Particularly interested in skateboarders.
