Job Description
A new television series is seeking paid background actors to portray high school students for scenes filming in Queens, New York. Casting is open to SAG-AFTRA and nonunion performers who can convincingly play younger teen characters. Selected talent will appear in both interior and exterior school scenes alongside one of the series’ main actors in an early spring setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a realistic high school student in background scenes.
- Follow on-set direction from the production team.
- Participate in interior and exterior school sequences.
- Maintain continuity and professionalism throughout filming.
- Work collaboratively with cast and crew during production.
Requirements
- Ages 14–17 or 18 and able to convincingly portray a high school student.
- Open to SAG-AFTRA and nonunion talent.
- Must have a youthful appearance suitable for a high school setting.
- Must be available to work in Queens, New York.
Compensation
- SAG-AFTRA: $231/8
- Nonunion: $187/10

Job Responsibilities

- Perform naturally in subway platform and train car environments.
