We are hiring an experienced and social-obsessed Senior Social Media Manager to join our award-winning content marketing agency. The Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing multiple social media accounts for our clients, developing and implementing social-first strategies, creating and curating engaging content, engaging with fans and followers through community management, and analyzing organic social media metrics to continuously improve performance and drive community engagement. Responsibilities

Requirements

● Approximately 6-8 years of hands-on experience working with mid to large size brands as a community manager or social media strategist, in an agency environment.

● Demonstrated mastery across social media platforms, and a portfolio to back it up.

● Ability to clearly and concisely articulate social media strategy and concepts and collaborate cross functionally, adding meaningful value throughout the process, from brainstorming to concepting to execution.

● Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing metrics to track success and inform future strategies.

Responsibilities

Task Coordination 

  • Coordinates the day-to-day operation of NABP’s B2B and B2C social media profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. 
  • Writes engaging content for all social media platforms while maintaining brand identity. 
  • Works closely with the graphic designers to create compelling multimedia content (images and video) for social media platforms. 
  • Researches and writes blog content at the direction of the Marketing Manager. Reviews blog content from SMEs and edits for style and voice, applies SEO best practices, and coordinates approvals.

  • Actively monitors social media trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement. 

Reporting & Documentation 

  • Develops and maintains social media and blog calendars to track campaigns/content and ensures posting frequency meets platform/campaign requirements. 
  • Analyzes and tracks social media, blog, and paid search/display campaign metrics across channels; prepares regular reports for leadership; and makes recommendations to optimize content based on findings. 

 

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a similar field. 
  • At least 3 years demonstrated social media or marketing communications experience, including writing, editing, and publishing content for specific audiences. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.  
  • Project management experience with excellent attention to detail required.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Babies and Toddlers (ages 1 month – 3 years old) and their real parents to be featured in a commercial for a major baby brand! 

PRODUCT: A Major Baby Brand (product is under NDA) 

TYPE OF PRODUCTION: This is a NON UNION Commercial with Stills that will be used for 1 year in North America for TV/Broadcast, Internet/New Media, Industrial, Print, and Historical usage. 

COMPENSATION (If booked for the project):

Babies Session Rate – $350.00 per work day (hours are subject to IL child labor laws), and $50.00 for wardrobe fitting (if needed)

Adults Session Rate – $500.00 per 10 hour work day, and $50.00 for wardrobe fitting (if needed)

If featured in the final commercial, each person (adults and children) will be compensated $2,000.00 for the usage!  

All minors in the state of IL would need to obtain a work permit and a trust account in order to shoot this commercial.  O’Connor Casting and Production will supply you with all information needed for this if your child is booked!

The Field Museum is a not-for-profit organization located on the Museum Campus of Chicago. Since the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, we have conducted research across all seven continents and accumulated a collection of over 40 million specimens and artifacts.

The Field Museum is searching for an Exhibitions Project Manager to join our team!

The Project Manager coordinates exhibition content development, design, graphics, production, and installation for both in-house or traveling temporary exhibitions. They perform ongoing project management, including (but not limited to) leading exhibition team meetings, representing the team at Museum-wide and inter-departmental meetings, and ensuring that exhibitions are on schedule and on budget. They are the conduit of information between the exhibition team and other Museum departments and the Museum’s main contact with outside partners on these projects. As needed, the Project Manager acts as the Museum’s spokesperson to the press and media for these exhibitions.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Exhibitions Operations Director
  • Reinforces institutional goals for the project and makes sure the team is responsive to these goals, which form the starting point in the conception of the project
  • Facilitates the team throughout the exhibition development, design, production, and installation process
  • Organizes meetings and develops agendas, and ensures that all team members are aware of deadlines and specific deliverables
  • Documents decisions and next steps, and notes when team members will bring deliverables back to the team
  • Helps guide team to meet budgetary goals
  • Drafts project-related contracts and works to ensure contract compliance
  • Acts as spokesperson for the team to outside groups and serves as a conduit of information into the team from outside
  • Works closely with Exhibition Directors to best position the team’s work within the institution; prepares team and individual team members (as needed) for presentations
  • Facilitates positive interpersonal dynamics on the team; works as needed with individuals and the group to help eliminate roadblocks
  • Helps build team spirit and actively seeks activities and opportunities for team building outside of the project
  • Equally supports all team members in their roles of design, production, development, etc. Encourages communication between team members. Ensures quieter team members can be heard. When there are dissenting opinions, encourage team members to clearly articulate their differing points of view and work toward resolution. When needed, drive the team toward decisions to reach closure

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. At least 3 years of museum experience working on exhibitions, and a background in anthropology, art history or related field is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, public speaking, and written) are required
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse teams and experience working in a creative, multidisciplinary and fast-paced work environment
  • Experience with creation and reviewing contracts, budgets, and schedules
  • Demonstrated organizational, planning and project management experience with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
  • Embraces working with people of different cultures, nationalities, and localities
  • Exhibits positive, professional manner and maintains strict confidentiality at all times
  • Knowledge of standard Office suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), with Microsoft Project experience preferred
