WE WANT YOUR LEADERSHIP. The Group Creative Director (Art & Design) is responsible for the overall supervision of the agency’s creative department and product – both design and copy, but with an emphasis on the quality of the design.

WE WANT YOUR STRATEGIC & CREATIVE VISION. The Group Creative Director (Art & Design) interfaces with the client, account teams, creative department, production department, and management team, and is responsible for taking strategic marketing plans and interpreting them into “big ideas” with a unique point of view.

This Group Creative Director (Art & Design) role is primarily an on-site position at our Chicago River North location. Regularly attending work in-person (5 days a week, M-F) is essential for the success of the company, our clients, and the entire Plan B team.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Directs the creative product, striving for excellence from concept to completion of every project.
  • Provides insightful, groundbreaking, and/or original creative concepts as required for specific assignments.
  • Produces director-level art direction and design for mobile-first digital experiences, including websites, landing pages, emails, e-newsletters, microsites, and digital display ads across client accounts as needed.
  • Collaborates with account group to joint estimate projects, assign resources, and define scope/schedule.
  • Works closely with account teams to solve marketing problems through smart advertising and best practices.
  • Manages Creative department, Creative Directors, Creative Production Services, and Freelance resources.
  • Confirms delivery schedules with account teams and oversees assignment of jobs to creative team members.
  • Oversees creative solutions produced by team and offers valuable input to elevate quality of creative product.
  • Serves as client-facing representative of the agency and effectively “sells” creative at client presentations.
  • Responsible for the selection and management of freelance services.
  • Assists in screening and interviewing applicants for creative positions, hiring and terminating to ensure creative department is appropriately staffed.
  • Actively promotes the agency’s growth and exposure via new business pitches, self-promotional efforts, and RFP response/proposal development.
  • Maintains current working knowledge of computer-related skills, software, and programs to ensure entire creative department and staff remain on the leading edge of essential technology and skills.
  • Makes recommendations to ensure profitability for the agency.
  • Recommends hardware and software purchases to keep department current and efficient.
  • Supports agency operations as a senior member of the agency’s management team.

Primary Job Functions

  • Candidate must be based in Chicago as the role will require a hybrid of remote and in-office days
  • Develop and produce static photography, static graphic, video and animated content for social and web platforms
  • Design first and foremost for the venue and audience and be an internal champion for the most compelling creative concepts, sometimes necessarily pushing client’s brand parameters
  • Own the process from kickoff to final execution of social and web creative leveraging in-house and external resources as needed

About the Role

NOCD is looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager focused on Paid Media to join our team. This dynamic and exciting role involves both executing to help grow our established awareness, app install, and direct response programs and learning new channels that are uncovered to reach more people struggling with OCD. 

Your tactical, in-platform work will result in accelerated growth across NOCD’s major programs, starting with Meta and YouTube campaigns and then rapidly expanding to other channels in the future. You will have a monthly budget to allocate towards your channels and tests that you pitch to maximize performance.

Second Life Mac (SLM), the market leader in the Apple device buyback industry, seeks a visionary marketing professional who serves a key leadership role for the company. This role is a unique opportunity to build the marketing department from the ground up, develop a first-class team and make the SLM brand the envy of our industry.

The Director of Marketing at SLM leads, develops, and executes all marketing activities, including social media, email marketing, branding, trade shows, and overall digital presence. In addition, the position is responsible for making SLM the “name” in the buyback industry by creating branding and marketing strategies. Thus, all Technology Directors (in Education and Enterprise verticals) make SLM their “go-to” service provider when selling their used Apple devices. Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

1. Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision, and identity of SLM.

2. Responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing program that will enhance the SLM image and position within the marketplace and the general public.

3. Manage the strategic and creative design of SLM marketing and communications activities and materials.

4. Responsible for building SLM’s social media presence on key platforms, presenting the brand as a thought leader in the industry.

5. Develops and executes an email marketing strategy (using Pardot) with a creative approach and consistent outreach to customers that sets SLM apart from competition and draws interest from new customers.

6. Create video marketing campaigns highlighting SLM customers, our team members, and education on the buy-back process.

7. Ensure articulation of SLM’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the industry, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external. Uphold protocol to ensure a uniform “house style” (uniform fonts, logos, pictures).

8. Coordinate the appearance of all SLM print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.

9. Develop, coordinate, and oversee programs, technical assistance, and resource materials to assist various departments in the marketing, communications, and positioning of their activities.

10. Regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinate and oversee this activity. Monitor trends.

11. Leads special projects as assigned, such as trade shows and special events, rebranding/logo development. 12. Coordinate media interest in SLM and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.

Planning and Budgeting

1. Responsible for the achievement of marketing mission, goals, and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems, including benchmarks, are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

2. Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing p activities, monitor progress, assure adherence, and evaluate performance.

3. Recommend short- and long-term goals and objectives to the COO.

4. Develop, implement, rogram and its and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing and communications function.

Organizational Strategy

1. Provide support to the Leadership Team and selected others in public relations matters and marketing and writing activities.

2. Help make sure that SLM’s core values and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization.

3. Act as an internal consultant to bring attention and solutions to company priorities.

Qualifications
