Feature Film Location Casting Call: Residential Homes

Job Description
A feature film is seeking residential homes to be used as filming locations for an upcoming production. This is a paid, non-union opportunity for homeowners in the Chicago northwest suburbs whose properties match specific story-driven needs. Selected homes will be featured on camera for multiple filming days.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide interior and exterior access to the home for filming

• Allow the production team to dress and film the location as needed

• Coordinate availability with the production schedule

• Maintain clear communication with the location department

Requirements

• Homes located in the Chicago northwest or north suburbs

• Preference for areas near Schiller Park and northwest of Rosemont

• Availability for 2–3 days of filming

• Two types of homes needed:

  • A classic, well-kept but dated single-family home with a semi-finished basement

  • A middle to upper-middle-class suburban family home built approximately 10–25 years ago, preferably with an attached garage

Compensation

• $1,750 per day

• Paid non-union location rental

• Professional feature film production

Job Description
A feature film is casting background actors to portray wedding guests in a lively celebration scene. This role is open to performers of all looks and ethnicities who can bring natural reactions and elegant energy to a formal wedding setting. Scenes will feature mingling, seated moments, and authentic wedding atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray wedding guests in formal celebration scenes
• React naturally during ceremony and reception moments
• Follow on-set direction to maintain continuity

Requirements

• Must be comfortable wearing wedding-appropriate formal attire
• Open to all looks and ethnicities
• Reliable, professional, and punctual
• Background acting experience is helpful but not required

Female Actor for Feature Film Supporting Role

Job Description
A feature film is seeking a female actor for a non-speaking supporting role portraying a polished, professional producer type. This role is ideal for performers with a strong on-screen presence who can communicate character through expression, movement, and professionalism. The scene will feature the character as part of a group of industry professionals in a realistic, story-driven setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a professional producer-type character with confidence and authenticity

• Perform naturally in a featured background/supporting role

• Follow on-set direction and maintain continuity throughout the scene

• Collaborate professionally with cast and crew

Requirements

• Female actors appearing in the 40s–50s age range

• Professional, polished look suitable for an industry executive role

• Comfortable performing in a non-speaking on-camera role
