Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to boost Guguru Media’s online presence and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with our brand and Nollywood movie themes.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
  • Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts.
  • Analyze key metrics and adjust strategy as needed.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A passion for watching Nollywood movies and creating related content.
