Jeremy Renner reveals that it’s not his job to help actresses get paid.

Jennifer Lawrence’s recent has rocked Hollywood to it’s core. Lawrence, who is currently filming Passengers in Atlanta with Chris Pratt, called out Hollywood for their history of sexism and unequal. Since she made those comments other actors including Rooney Mara, Jessica Chastain, and Bradley Cooper stood up to her defense.

But, one of Jennifer Lawrence’s co-stars, Jeremy Renner, had a different response. When asked whether he will be willing to negotiate his pay alongside his female costars in the future.

“That’s not my job,” Renner told Business Insider on Tuesday, adding, “I don’t know contracts and money and all that sort of stuff.”

Jeremy Renner went on to say that he supports actresses being compensated fairly. But, he is just focused on his acting and his performance as an actor. “I’m a performer and I know human behavior,” he said. “When it comes to that sort of stuff I let other people deal with that.”

While, Jeremy Renner was probably being as upfront and open about his experiences in Hollywood, on Twitter people called for Marvel to replace the actor on all future superhero movies.

It is important to point out that Jeremy Renner has a history of upsetting people with his comments. During the Golden Globes, Renner commented on Jennifer Lopez’s breasts while they co-presented an award. In addition, in April, during press coverage for Avengers 2  Jeremey Renner said the character Black Widow was a “slut”. Renner would later apologize and call it a joke.

It is important to point out that Jennifer Lawrence’s other co-star, Bradley Cooper, announced that he will work with his female costars to make sure they get paid fairly even if that means if he has to get a pay cut.

“I don’t know where it’s changing otherwise, but that’s something that I could do,” he said.

“Usually you don’t talk about the financial stuff, you have people,” Cooper added. “But you know what? It’s time to start doing that.”

Are Thieves Targeting Atlanta TV and Film Productions?

Incidents of robbery, kidnapping and sexual assault have Atlanta film crews.

Police track down and arrest three men associated with an Atlanta movie prop rental company.

According to Fox5 Atlanta, three men bashed the doors of Hands on Props, Alpha Studio Rental and Georgia Film Art.

The businesses are located near the Southside Industrial Parkway. Atlanta police found televisions, electronics and fake weapons stashed in the woods near the businesses, according to reports.

It is important to point out that 40 prop guns were also taken.

As Georgia’s film industry grow in popularity, so does the crime. Recently, a security guard for Fox’s Sleepy Hollow was kidnapped and sexually assaulted.

According to the press release…

“She was sitting in her (black 2007 BMW 328i) when she was approached by two black males with their faces covered, one wearing a black bandana and one wearing a red bandana. They forced the victim into her own vehicle’s trunk.”

After joyriding with the female in the truck of the passenger car, the two suspects forced her to give them the PIN to her ATM card, and they withdrew money from the Bank of America, 1088 West Avenue, Conyers.”

Should actors do background extra work? Here are 5 reasons why every actor should consider doing background acting work.

Many of today’s A-list actors started working as a background extra. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon both started their acting career as background extras before they made their critically acclaimed movie, Good Will Hunting. Sylvester Stallone worked alongside Woody Allen before landing his first ever speaking role. Brad Pitt also worked as a background extra before making it in Hollywood. However, many casting directors, acting coaches, and other filmmakers will tell aspiring actors that doing background extra work is a waste of time and can hurt your chances on making it into the film industry.

However, in a recent interview with casting director, Michelle Kelly, CSA, Kelly reveals why it is important that every aspiring actor experiences at least one day on set due to the amount of knowledge, experience, and connections an actor can learn or make while working as a background extra.

Daniel Radcliffe: Camera Phones Caused My Drinking Problem

Daniel Radcliffe just revealed how camera phones played a major role in his drinking problem.

“Any time I’d go out to dance, camera phones would come out,” the “Harry Potter” actor said in the November issue of Playboy. “That would make me very self-conscious, and what’s the easiest way to escape being self-conscious? Alcohol is a quick way of doing that. So it was related in that way.”

He continued, “A few years ago there was a TV ad that showed a lot of inventors, including a guy who invented the camera phone. He was smiling smugly into the camera, and I was just like, ‘F–k you. What have you wrought?’ Camera phones are definitely not my favorite.”

The 26-year-old actor opened up about his past issues with alcoholism, saying in a previous interview that he was “really annoying, loud, inappropriate, messy drunk.”

“It becomes painful to watch your personal issues that you’ve tried to be sincere about get turned into fodder for TV gossip shows,” Radcliffe said. “I was forthright about it … but once you start talking about this, that’s all you talk about. I can say lots of well-meaning stuff — why it happened and how I stopped — for three hours, and the headline would be ‘Drunk on the set of ‘Harry Potter.’ So I don’t talk about it as much now.”

But, did Daniel Radcliffe drink on set of Harry Potter? Probably not. In 2012, he revealed to Heat magazine (via The Telegraph) that while he never drank on the set of “Harry Potter,” there were times he was still drunk while working.

“I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes,” he said.

Daniel Radcliffe is currently filming his new movie Imperium, in Hopewell, Virginia. Daniel Radcliffe will play a FBI agent in the new movie Imperium. Despite sounding like a sexy space soap opera, It is actually based on the true story of Michael German, the FBI agent who spent years undercover in Neo-Nazi and militia groups in the United States. In the movie, the character based on Michael German tries to stop a bunch of white supremacists from doing a terrorist attack.

‘Think Like a Man’ TV Show is Coming Soon to Fox

Fox is now developing a ‘Think Like a Man‘ TV series with Steve Harvey, Will Packer and Tim Story.

According to Deadline, Think Like A Man is being transformed in to a TV series. Fox is currently developing a Think Like A Man, comedy series to be executive produced by comedian Steve Harvey whose self-help book the movies were based on.

Keith Merryman and David A. Newman, who wrote the 2012 and 2014 movies, will write the TV version and will executive produce the production. In addition. Tim Story, who directed both movies, will direct the potential pilot and also executive produce.

Think Like A Man TV series will center around the battle of the sexes from four different points of view. “newly married, moving in, breaking up and hooking up. Featuring both the male and female perspectives, our couples and their friends will realize that it’s easy to fall in love and “be” in love but not necessarily stay in love.”

Fox’s ‘Empire’ Spinoff, ‘Star’ Open Casting Call for Lead Roles

Do you want to audition for a role on the Empire spinoff? Well here is your chance.

Empire co-creator Lee Daniels is about to start shooting his new Fox TV pilot about the music industry, called Star, and auditions are open around the world. Star will center around the choices “these artists are faced (with) along the way, while showcasing the allure and heartache of the cut-throat music scene, and exploring cultural themes from a new perspective,” according to Fox.

Star’s TV pilot will film in December in Atlanta, Georgia. Do you have what it takes?

Here’s the open casting call details for Lee Daniels’ Star:

STAR: Character is a Caucasian female, 18 years old (actor must be 18 years of age or over). She’s a tough chick with a badass attitude.

ALEXANDRA: Character is an African-American female, about 20 (actor must be 18 years of age or over). She’s an elegant yet classic beauty. Alexandra wants to put this material world behind her so she can make real, authentic music.

SIMONE: Character is Half African-American Half Caucasian, Star’s younger sister, 16 years old (actor must be 18 years of age or over). Tragic and adorable.

COTTON: Character is a half African-American and half Latina transgender woman with a stunning look, 20 (actor must be 18 years of age or over). She has an especially keen eye for fashion.

Hint: you’ve got to be able to sing and act. Future superstars of America should submit their videos here.

According to Deadline, the new music-themed drama will start filming as soon as Empire wraps production in Chicago. The TV pilot was greenlighted by the network in August and stems from Lee Daniels’ overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television.

The new Star series is written and executive-produced by Lee Daniels and co-written/executive produced by Tom Donaghy, Star is set in Atlanta and centers on three girls – one White, one Black and one half White/Half Black — who are coming together to form a band and their rise to the top. It will center around the choices in which these aspiring artists are faced with as they work hard to acheive their dreams of stardom. Fox and 20th Century Television are launching the international casting search in order to find the four roles for the TV pilot.

Actor Shot with Real Bullet as Tombstone Recreates O.K. Corral Gunfight

Tombstone shooting – man nearly killed as an actor uses a real gun in O.K. Corral gunfight.

A man was shot and nearly killed following an historical reenactment of the infamous gunfight at the O.K. Corral last Sunday when one of the actors involved fired real bullets instead of the planned blanks.

A Tombstone Vigilante reenactment group member, Tom Carter,  allegedly arrived late and didn’t have his gun checked before the O.K. Corral skit. Another actor, Ken Curtis, was shot in the upper groin. Curtis would later have the bullet removed at a Tucson hospital.

Police inspected Carter’s gun and determined he fired five shots. Tucson news station KOLD reports two of the live rounds struck local businesses, and pieces of flying metal hit a female bystander, who later refused medical treatment.

“Tombstone takes pride in the safety and security of its townspeople and tourists alike and the citizens of Tombstone can be assured that stringent safety protocol will be enforced prior to allowing any further gunfight skits,” the Marshal’s Office said in a statement.

The gunfight at the O.K. Corral is based on the legendary lawman Wyatt Earp, his brothers, and ex-dentist Doc Holliday going against the outlaw Cowboys, including the brothers Clanton and McLaury.

CBS is now casting teen actors to work on an episode of Limitless now filming on Monday, October 26th in New York City. Casting directors are looking for African American and Caucasian kids ages 15 to 18 years old to work on the upcoming episode of Limitless.

Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, along with Bradley Cooper and Todd Phillips are developing a TV version ofBradley Cooper’s 2011 hit movie, “Limitless” and will air onCBS. The TV series is expected to pick up where the movie left off, following Brian Sinclair as he discovers the power of the drug NZT, and is coerced into using its enhanced abilities for good.

Fox’s ‘Gotham’ Season 2 Ratings Hit Series Low

Season 2 of ‘Gotham’ ratings drop.

Fox’s Gotham hit record low ratings this Monday drawing in only 4.1 million total viewers and a 1.3 demo rating, according to TVLine.com

Gotham season 2 had to face off one of the most watched NFL Monday Night Football games so far, this year.

But, Gotham is not alone. Fox’ Minority Report also hit historic lows with only 1.9 million viewers.

According to MarketingCharts.com, young people are watching less and less TV.

Nielsen’s most recent study indicates that Americans aged 18-24 watched a weekly average of almost 16-and-a-half hours of traditional TV during Q2 2015. That represents a substantial year-over-year decline of 2 hours and 35 minutes per week. In other words, 18-24-year-olds as a group went from watching about 2-and-three-quarter-hours per day during the second quarter of 2014 to a little more than 2 hours and twenty minutes per day during Q2 of this year. That sitcom they watched last year on TV? They probably streamed it this year.

Ouch.

HOAX: Man Kills Himself Because Star Wars’ Main Character is Black

HOAX: A man DOES NOT commit suicide because the main Star Wars Episode VII character is black.

(UDPATE: Tuesday, October 20, 2015: 10: 49 PM EST) After careful investigation, a man actually did not commit suicide after watching the Star Wars trailer. Newswatch33.com is a FAKE news website and their sources were illegitimate.

(October 20, 2015 @ 12:32)#BoycottStarWarsVII has gone viral and many people are pissed off that John Boyega has such a major role in the upcoming Star Wars: Force Awakens. Now, according to Newswatch33, authorities are reporting that a 53 year-old Caucasian man was found dead in Charlotte, North Carolina with a suicide note that read, “Make America White Again.”

Monday, during Monday Night Football’s Halftime Show, Disney revealed the Star Wars trailer for the new Star Wars Episode VI. When the trailer was initially released in December 2014, Boyega was quickly dismissed as a small character playing the role of a storm trooper. However, many fans, especially those who appear to have racist views, expressed how upset they were with Boyega as the main character in Star Wars VII on Twitter.

According to reports, Bobby-Jo, 53, of Charlotte, North Carolina was known by friends as a hardcore Star Wars fan. His wife, Sarah Garrison, also a Star Wars fan, attended comic-con every year dressed up as storm troopers. However, Mrs. Garrison would find her husband unresponsive with a suicide note saying “Make America White Again.”

According to Newswatch33, when the EMS and police arrived at the scene, Mr. Garrison was pronounced dead. Officer Jenkins would collect the suicide note from Mrs. Garrison. She would later point out that in the suicide letter Garrison had an issue with the main character of Star Wars being black.

“If white people aren’t wanted in Star Wars, then our money must not be either. I’m tired of seeing N**GERS taking over great white films. I can not live in a world being overran by Blacks. Sorry Sarah.”

In another section of the letter read, Boycott Star Wars VII because Disney decided to use affirmative action instead of the force.

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ was co-written and directed by JJ Abrams and takes place 30 years after ‘Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi,” when the rebels crushed the Galactic Empire. While audiences will see some of their favorite actors return to their iconic roles, a new wave of villains and heroes are expected to appear in the new feature film.
