Hollywood reacts to Jennifer Lawrence’s open letter against Hollywood’s gender pay gap.

Jennifer Lawrence Calls Out Hollywood
In response, exposed Hollywood’s history of paying women far less then male actors. In fact, in a letter devoted to the wage gap between men and women in the industry, Jennifer Lawrence called out Bradley Cooper for earning more money than here.
“I’m over trying to find the ‘adorable’ way to state my opinion and still be likable! F— that.” […] “Jeremy Renner, Christian Bale, and Bradley Cooper all fought and succeeded in negotiating powerful deals for themselves.”
It was revealed that Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner also earned more than Jennifer Lawrence, who stated that while her male co-stars fought for a pay increase, she said no, because she wanted to be well liked.

Jennifer Lawrence adds her name to group of A-list actresses fighting for gender pay equality in Hollywood including Emma Watson, Meryl Streep, Geena Davis, Cate Blanchett, Patricia Arquette, and Lena Dunham.
But, other actors have voiced their support for Jennifer Lawrence.
Dozens of Hollywood actors have raised there voice in support of Jennifer Lawrence, showing that she is not alone in this discussion and fight for equal pay for women. Actors such as Mark Ruffalo and Adam Baldwin announced their support for Jennifer Lawrence.

It’s good to see so many voices coming out of support of Jennifer Lawrence. Hopefully, Hollywood can unite to cause change in an industry that has oppressed women for decades.
