In today’s society there are over 65 millions individuals in America that have do not have a bank account or like pay check-to-pay check using prepaid payroll cards. Russell Simmons took advantage of the individuals living in America who utilize prepaid payroll cards.
Simmons is the founder of the Rushcard. The Rushcard recently increased users’ transaction fees to allow card users to receive their paycheck only two days early. Just last week, the Rushcard locked out hundreds of users out of their account.

Netflix’s ‘The Get Down’ Casting Call for Teen Actors in New York City.
Netflix’s The Get Down is looking for African American & Hispanic men & women to portray 1970s Office Interns. Peter Jackson’s Visual Special Effects Company, WETA Digital, has finally revaled how they recreated the late Paul Walker for Furious 7, admitting that it was “barely possible”
How VFX digitally recreated Paul Walker on Furious 7
Paul Walker died tragically in November two years ago halfway through the filming of the seventh movie in the Fast & Furious franchise. But, when studio executives decided to keep Paul Walker in the movie instead of cutting him out of the production, VFX companies had no idea what to do. Initially, Joe Letteri, the visual effects supervisor, said the company had to use previous footage to create a digital actor.
‘It was barely possible last year when we did it,’ Joe explained. ‘We had to complete a performance – what Paul Walker would have done if he’d been able to continue.’
This means that the team had to use old footage of Paul Walker to create close-ups and full sequences as ‘anything else would have shortchanged his performance and the film.’
350 camera angles were created by WETA Digital who built a library of refrence pictures of Paul based on outtakes from earlier movies. However, Joe explained that those scenes had been filmed in particular lighting environments which were a major challenged for the VFX crew. So, WETA ‘essentially had to relight his performance’ digitally for each new scene.
They then used motion-capture techniques on Paul’s brothers Cody and Caleb, as well as actor JOhn Brotherton who was also starring in the movie and was a similar size to Paul, to build the digital models they needed for the movie.
Martin Hill, a VFX supervisor on the film also discussed how creating a ‘photo-real digital human who can believably move and act onscreen’ was an amazing challenge to create it.

City of Atlanta Entertainment Program- Atlanta launches a new paid film job training program
Georgia has one of the biggest film industries in the world. With states like Los Angeles and New York competing with Georgia, the Peach State is quickly becoming the new Hollywood. To handle all of these new movies and TV shows now filming in Atlanta, Georgia, Atlanta’s mayor, Kasim Reed and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local (IATSE) 479 are launching a City of Atlanta Entertainment Program.
The program is the first job training program in the United States that will focus on building the film industry and increase the number of trained crew members in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to bizjournals.com, City of Atlanta Entertainment Program will train men and women “below-the-line” job skills such as the skills necessary to work in animation, cinematography, editing, makeup, post production, and visual effects.
“I am proud to support the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency and the Office of Entertainment’s efforts to facilitate employment opportunities for Atlanta residents in the film and television production industry,” said Mayor Reed. “Providing a trained below-the-line workforce is critical to the film industry’s growth in Atlanta and Georgia. This program will ensure that our residents and young people have access to learn from world-class professionals and acquire vital skills.”
What is the City of Atlanta Entertainment Program?
In addition, the IATSE will be working with Mayor Kasim Reed, the City of Atlanta and the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency to provide job training in the Motion Picture industry in Georgia.
The new program will be free for all production companies in Atlanta, Georgia and qualified applicants will be able to apply for positions as trainees in motion picture and television productions in Atlanta. In addition the Atlanta Workforce Development Aggency will pay the trainees’ wages for the length of the program, which is up to 17 weeks. Once the trainees are accepted into the program, IATSE Local 479 will introduce trainees into the film industry with an intensive two-day workshop and will work with producers to put the trainees on set.
How to apply to the City of Atlanta Entertainment Program
Admissions into the program is on a rolling basis. Atlanta residents who are interested in joining the Atlanta Entertainment Program must have a valid Georgia Driver’s License and must register with AWDA and go through the intake process.

Fox’s ‘Empire’ is now casting real cops and female prisoners in Chicago, Illinois.
Fox’s hit TV series Empire is now casting background actors to play female prisoners in an episode filming on Tuesday, October 20th in Chicago, Illinois. Casting directors are looking for female actors, models, and talent that look tough, think “Orange is the New Black”. According to the casting call, Fox’s Empire will provide a pay bump for those who don’t have a car and will need to take metro to Joliet, Illinois.

Mark Ruffalo is now a house hold name actor. But, it took years and hundreds of failed auditions before the actor finally landed his first acting job.
Mark Ruffalo is probably enjoying the fact that he will continue to play The Hulk, despite rumors of Marvel recasting the character for the new movie Thor: Ragnarok. However, before he was able to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ruffalo was just like millions of other aspiring actors. Mark Ruffalo revealed that his determination and his mother pushed him to keep working on his acting career; “if I tried to quit she wouldn’t speak to me again.”
‘It’s been mythologized now but it started with about 600 auditions without success,’ he said about his long slog to stardom. ‘Most smart people would have quit when it takes that long.’
After more than 600 auditions, Ruffalo finally broke through in 2000, playing Laura Linney’s troubled brother in the film, “You Can Count on Me.”
“And all these casting directors were like, ‘Where did you come from?'” said Ruffalo. “I’m like, ‘What are you talking about? I’ve been under your noses for the past 10 years! Where have you been?'”

Ever since nude photos of Justin Bieber surfaced last week, Bieber has remained quiet on the issue. But, Justin Bieber recently opened up about the nude photos in an interview with Access Hollywood which will air on Monday.

Justin Bieber broke his silence on the nude photo scandal, which showed the singer standing naked on a balcony while he was on vacation in Bora Bora.
“My first thing was like…how can they do this?” Bieber says. “Like, I feel super violated. Like, I feel like I can’t step outside and feel like I can go outside naked. Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space… especially that far away.”
Justin Bieber is clearly taking the issue seriously. But, Justin Bieber still made a joke of the situation saying “That was shrinkage for me.”
Nude scandal or not, Justin Bieber’s music career has hit an all time high.
His next album, Purpose, hits record stores in November, and Justin Beiber received his first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “What Do You Mean?” last month.
“I’ve been around for so long that people thought that maybe I had a No. 1 already. And I’ve had No. 1s, like No. 1 on iTunes and stuff, but to have a Billboard No. 1 is really special because it’s like everything added up together,” he said. “I debuted at No. 1, and I think I’m the youngest person to debut at number one, which is pretty awesome.”
An Atlanta background extra was fired after sharing a photo from on set of Zac Efron’s new movie Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.
According to TMZ, a background extra on Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising was fired, after he Instagrammed a picture from the set showing a baggie filled with fake weed, with the caption, “Thanks for the weed Zac Efron! BTW it’s only a prop, people.”

The first ‘Neighbors’ revolved around a couple with a new baby who are forced to live next to a fraternity house and do whatever they can to take it down. Zac Efron was treated for alcohol and substance abuse two years ago he says he has been sober since the June of that year.
Discussing his drug problems in an episode of NBC reality show Running Wild with Bear Grylls, Efron revealed: ‘It got to the point where I was caring less about the work and waiting more for the weekend where I couldn’t wait to go out and let loose and have fun.
‘But when Monday and Tuesday were difficult to get through, I thought, “This is bad”.’

Kirsten has also spoken up about the harmful influence of fame in today’s society. In an interview with Town and Country Magazine, she discusssed the unrealistic expectations assigned to actors and actresses, who are expected to take criticism at all times.
This interview occurred after there were rumors of Kirsten’s association with drugs and alcohol, after she checked into Utah’s Cirque Lodge, in order to treat her depression.
Kirsten claims that her depression was brought on by the entertainment industry, which are unrealistic and damaging to those involved.
“What people expect of an actor is totally ridiculous.” […] “So all you can do is be yourself — just be who the hell you are.”

The two-minute collection of footage was shown at a fan premiere event last Sunday, and recorded by an audience member.
Other highlights include a zombie accidentally busting through a door too early, and a crew member ruining a scene.

Chicago Med is an upcoming American medical drama television series created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead as a spin-off from Chicago Fire. Chicago Med is described as “an emotional ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city’s most explosive hospital and the courageous team of doctors that holds it together.” It is said to tackle cases inspired by topical events and intertwine with characters from Chicago Fireand Chicago P.D.

Netflix is now looking for extras to play drug addicts in a scene filming in New York City.
Netflix is currently casting background extras to appear in their new series The Get Down, which is now filming in New York City. Casting directors are looking for extras to play drug addicts from the 1980s. Filming will take place in New York City on October, 21st. Producers are looking for guys with hair that is at least 1.5 inches in length to appear in the upcoming episode.
“The Get Down” centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excssive crime rate and corruption. According to Variety,“The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.

Casting directors are looking for actors, models, and talent to play senators, security, and federal agents on an upcoming scene filming on Sunday, October 18th in Charleston, South Carolina for the new movie Leavey starring Kate Mara. Producers are looking for talent that have well fitted business suits and outfits.
The movie centers around the true story of Leavey, a young Marine who turned her life around by enlisting in the K9 unit. There, she was teamed up with an aggressive combat dog named Rex. The two form a bond and were deployed to Iraq as an elite bomb sniffing team. Together they serve two tours of duty and complete more than 100 missions, saving hundreds of lives.
After she was wounded in combat, for which she receives a Purple Heart, Megan was forced to retire. She spent the next five years waiting to adopt Rex, who remained on active duty. When he ended on an euthanized list, Megan geared up for the fight of her life to bring the 11-year old German Shepherd home.
