The production seeks authentic performers with musical talent, especially those familiar with punk and heavy metal. Roles are performance-based with no dialogue and will require musical authenticity and physicality. Applicants must be non-union and based in the Greater Toronto Area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray real-life metal band members from the 1980s–2000s

  • Perform on-screen with instruments (guitar, bass, drums)

  • Recreate scenes with dramatic physicality and emotional authenticity

  • Participate in stylized sequences that may involve modesty garments, wigs, and simulated scenes

  • Commit to shoot dates in late April and early May

Requirements

  • Must be non-union and based in Greater Toronto Area, with valid Ontario tax status

  • Comfortable with wearing wigs or adjusting hair length/facial hair for character accuracy

  • Must be able to play musical instruments relevant to the role (guitar, bass, drums)

  • Willing to perform scenes involving modesty garments (e.g. in a bath with bubble coverage)

  • Comfortable playing multiple background roles throughout the season

  • All roles are SOC (silent on camera)

  • No dialogue; strong expressive physical acting required
