Actors for Short Film – North London Mystery/Comedy/Christmas Film

Job Description
A North London-based short film is now casting multiple lead and supporting roles for a mystery-comedy set during the holiday season. The project features eccentric local characters and a mix of humor, chaos, and heart. Filming will take place in London in December, and all roles are paid.

Arun

• Male, 50s–60s, British-Asian, North London accent.

• Eccentric, chaotic, and tragically comic—known as the local drunk and unofficial park historian.

• Always half-cut, always half-right, chatty, and self-defending.

Neri

• Female, 30s, British–South Asian or Middle Eastern, North London accent.

• Grounded, perceptive, and witty.

• Café owner and protective community matriarch with a dry sense of humor.

Dave

• Male, 40s, any ethnicity, Broad North London accent.

• Loud, warm, and endearing.

• Local loudmouth who believes he’s the neighborhood spokesperson—opinionated yet sincere.

Susan

• Female, 40s, American (U.S.), Transatlantic accent.

• Earnest and slightly anxious.

• A former New Yorker who’s traded Manhattan chaos for Tottenham “authenticity,” overly polite but unintentionally funny.

• Local to London or able to work as a local hire.
