Bilingual Japanese/English Marketing Director (Entertainment -Gaming) (CA/YM)
An entertainment company is seeking a An entertainment company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Marketing Director to join their team in Brea, CA. This position is responsible for all activities and output of the marketing department. A bachelor’s degree with a focus on marketing, advertising, or similar field, 5 years of marketing management experience, supervisory experience, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Microsoft Office, the ability to travel, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese is required. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position with excellent benefits, bonus, and 401k.
Bilingual Japanese/English Marketing Director Duties:
–Develop annual department budgets
-Monitor and manager company-wide marketing efforts, expenses, results tracking, and related metrics.
-Manage activities, expenses, results tracking, and other relevant metrics.
-Developing and implementing the company’s marketing plan, including public media programs
-Develop and implement company marketing plans, including local store advertising and other in-store promotional marketing.
-Communicate and coordinate with other departments within the company regarding brand initiatives, promotion, and design.
-Negotiate with media vendors to pursue optimal cost performance.
-Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
-Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s social media presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications
-Supervise a marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules and deadlines.
-Participates in business trips (1-3 days) about every 3months to site survey new stores.
Bilingual Japanese/English Marketing Director Skills:
-Must have a bachelor’s degree with a focus on marketing, advertising, or related field
-Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese
-Must have 5 years of marketing management experience
-Must have supervisory experience
-Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Microsoft Office
-Must be able to travel for business
-Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies
-Excellent verbal/written communication skills
