You are a talented creative LEADER in every sense of the word. You have a clear vision and an open mind to accept influence from your team, peers as well as senior leadership. You have an entrepreneurial mindset so you have the ability to best leverage the talent and resources of your team as well as recruit 3rd parties (freelancers, agencies) to deliver amazing visuals, and designs. You are highly skilled in creating mood boards, design and brand guides as well as detailed workflows and procedures to ensure the creative team follows production and quality standards to maximize productivity. You are patient. supportive and excel and training and nurturing your team. 

What You Will Own 

• lead a team of creatives with your creative director and director of creative projects 
• Take on packaging projects from start to finish
• Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the copywriter 
• Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas 
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience 
• Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media 
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines 
• Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions 
• Present completed ideas to leadership, and team members 
• Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices 
• mood board, style and brand guide creation 
• create and take part in creating workflows and processes
• Familiar with project management software. We use Jira
• all visuals, graphics, images, imagery 
• participate in product development committee leading design, colorways, etc 
• websites/e-commerce – design, branding, visual merchandising
