Our client, a NYC based B2C cloud based gaming technology startup, is actively looking for an Analytics Director to join their team in Midtown! This role is onsite hybrid 3 days a week so local candidates are required.
***This is a full-time permanent position***
This Analytics Director will be the single owner of all analytics for the company owning:
- Data streams
- Event names and properties
- Reporting and dashboards
- BI analysis
- PM of all analytics related dev work
- Data migration projects
- Ingestion of new data into RS/Mixpanel
- Data schema and data stragety (note-does NOT involve any sort of data model, that is owned by Core team unless it affects analytics)
This person will also be responsible for:
- Modeling of conversion rates
- Forecasting user growth
- Partnering with FP&A on user value
- Reporting package for board meetings
- Building dashboards for individual teams and leaders
- Testing and measuing plans for all product
- Having opinions on product for growth
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or analytical field
- 5+ years of professional experience in an analytics focused role
- Must be extremely technical
- Experience in consumer tech & gaming media
- Strong experience with Excel and Mixpanel
- Must be able to write queries and do light coding
- Must have strong opinions on defining metrics and what metrics matter
- Must be a clear communicator
- Must be detail oriented
