What You Will Do
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive marketing calendar that outlines all marketing projects, events, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, product marketing specialists, and social media managers
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful completion of marketing projects
- Monitor and report on the progress of marketing projects, making adjustments as needed to ensure objectives are met
- Implement project management best practices and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the marketing team
- Provide support and guidance to marketing team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- Develop and execute public relations strategies to raise brand awareness and enhance brand reputation
- Plan and execute marketing events, trade shows, and other customer engagement initiatives to drive brand engagement and customer loyalty
- Develop and execute traditional media and advertising campaigns, including print, radio, and television, to reach target audiences and drive brand awareness and engagement
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform brand strategies and plans
- Partner with product marketing specialists and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and brand campaigns
- Manage and maintain the brand guidelines to ensure consistency in brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels and materials
What You Will Need
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing or a related role, preferably within the firearms or outdoor industry
- Proven track record of managing and executing successful marketing campaigns and product launches
- Proven experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
- Strong background in market research and analysis, with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and messaging to drive customer engagement and loyalty
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, including digital marketing, social media, and content marketing
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms
- A strong team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of and passion for firearms, gun parts, and accessories is a plus
Physical Demands
Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.
